Hello all, and welcome to another Goodreads Monday! I have so many books on my TBR and this is the time and place to talk about them all!

Goodreads Monday is a weekly meme that is hosted by Lauren @ Lauren’s Page Turners and I cannot wait to bring you a book that is waiting to be read on my TBR list.

Goodreads Monday is a weekly meme where you pick a book that is on your TBR list and show it off. This week I am showing off A Monster Calls by Patrick Ness.

Synopsis:

“The monster showed up after midnight. As they do.

But it isn’t the monster Conor’s been expecting. He’s been expecting the one from his nightmare, the one he’s had nearly every night since his mother started her treatments, the one with the darkness and the wind and the screaming…

This monster is something different, though. Something ancient, something wild. And it wants the most dangerous thing of all from Conor.

It wants the truth.”

My Comments:

I have been meaning to read this book for a long time. But now that there is a movie of this book coming out. It makes me want to read it so much quicker. I am a Media Production student so I am always wanting to watch new movies. But I can’t watch a movie that is based on a book without reading the book. So I definitely need to get reading it quickly. I have heard nothing but good things about this book.

There you have it, this weeks Goodreads Monday. If you have read or plan on reading A Monster Calls let me know in the comments,  I would love to hear your thoughts on the book below!

      1. Oh sorry! Yeah the edition with the drawings is the one you used in your post. I was talking to another blogger who read it without the images though and she still loved it anyways 😛
