Today post is another Standalone Sunday. I have had the last week off work and spent it with my family. I didn’t blog all week because I was so busy! I am back at work tomorrow so I am back blogging.
Standalone Sunday is a weekly meme created by Megan @ Bookslayerreads. Every Sunday we make a post about a standalone book, so one that is not part of a series. There is an awful lot of focus are books that are part of a series, so it is always nice to feature a standalone book.
This weeks Standalone Sunday book is Autoboyography by Christina Lauren.
Publication Date: 12th September 2017
Synopsis:
“Three years ago, Tanner Scott’s family relocated from California to Utah, a move that nudged the bisexual teen temporarily back into the closet. Now, with one semester of high school to go, and no obstacles between him and out-of-state college freedom, Tanner plans to coast through his remaining classes and clear out of Utah.
But when his best friend Autumn dares him to take Provo High’s prestigious Seminar—where honor roll students diligently toil to draft a book in a semester—Tanner can’t resist going against his better judgment and having a go, if only to prove to Autumn how silly the whole thing is. Writing a book in four months sounds simple. Four months is an eternity.”
My Comments:
I listened to this audio book over the space of two shifts at work. I was a big fan of this book. The narrator of the story was wonderful which really adds to the whole experience for me. It was really interesting to learn about the LDS religion in a fun and entertaining audio book. I will be picking up a physical copy of this book soon.
There you have it this weeks Standalone Sunday. Comment below if you have read this book or plan on reading this book as well as your thoughts.

Until next time,
I haven’t heard of this one yet, or the link-up. I really should check out more standalones. I just always get so invested in characters and want so much more from them to be satisfied with a standalone.

I’m glad you’re keeping Megan’s memory alive by continuing the tradition of Standalone Sunday. She and her blog are gone, but this is a way to honor her memory. It makes me happy to see. ☺️
We will continue to miss her…and I am going to start doing Standalone Sunday myself to honor her memory. Thank you.
