January Book Haul

Book HaulAs January draws to a close I thought a would share a book haul including all the books I have bought in January (a couple of books in this haul were gifted to me by publishers, I will state this next to the books). I love looking at other peoples book hauls towards the end of a month, to see what else has been release but also because I am nosy! Do you like reading/watching book hauls? Let me know in the comments.

At the beginning of the month I had a wonderful day out with my friends and this is where I bought my first 3 books this month. These 3 books are ones I have been waiting to buy for a long time. Two Can Keep a Secret by Karen M. McManus, Sheets by Brenna Thummler and Nowhere on Earth by Nick Lake (which I couldn’t find whilst taking the pictures for this post).

Then I went on a day out with work to Liverpool and I went on a trip to the Waterstones store to see what books they had on offer. I ended up buying 1 book. Space Boy Volume One by Stephen McCranie.

I was then sent a book by the wonderful Stripes publisher. They gifted me with a copy of a book I have been excited about for a long time. Thank you so much to Stripes for gifting me this book. I cannot wait to read Proud the Anthology by various authors!

Towards the end of January I went on a trip to London for the weekend with my Mum. I always try to make a trip to Foyles when I am in London. I love the different variety of book they have on sale there. I bought 4 books form Foyles. My Almost Flawless Tokyo Dream Life by Rachel Cohn, All the Lonely People by David Owen, Hilda and the Great Parade by Luke Pearson and A Short History of the Girl Next Door by Jared Reck.

Finally, I went to the TEENSgate blogger event at the end of the month and of course I bought some books. I was also gifted a book from DK publishing as they sponsored the blogger event. I bought 2 books whilst at the event. Crush by Svetlana Chmakova and Outside by Sarah Ann Juckes. I was then gifted 1 book. Feminism Is… by DK.

That is all the books I have bought and been gifted this month. I ended up finishing this month buying more books than I had planned. What do you think about this style of book haul? Do you like it or is there anything you would like me to change? Let me know in the comments below.
