February Book Haul

Book HaulI went book shopping a lot in February (I mean when don’t I!) and wanted to shared a book haul including all of the books that I bought in February! I am going to stick with the format I did for last months book haul in which I talked a little about when I bought the books and where! I enjoyed doing it this way as it is a little bit different!

Here is my February Book Haul!

At the start of the month I had a couple of pre-order items on the way as well as a normal Waterstones order. They all arrived at the same time! I got Heartstopper Volume One by Alice Oseman, Fierce Fragile Hearts by Sara Barnard and Hilda and the Midnight Giant by Luke Pearson.

Then I spent an evening in Manchester with my friends at the in conversation with L.C Rosen and Simon James Green event. Being with friends makes me buy more books! I bought L.C Rosen’s book Jack of Hearts (And Other Parts). As well as that I pick up some books I have been excited about for a long time! I picked up On the Come Up by Angie Thomas, A Danger to Herself and Others by Alyssa Sheinmel and The Year After You by Nina de Pass.

For my best friend Sarah’s birthday a group of us went out for Brunch (which was delicious)! Me and Sarah did a little bit of book shopping after our brunch. I bought Burn for Burn by Jenny Han and Siobhan Vivian and The New Boy by Paula Rawsthorne.

Towards the end of the month I had what I would like to think of as the best bookish luck in the world. Lauren James happened to be doing an event just 10 minutes away from where I work but I couldn’t get the time off work to go to the event. My wonderful bookish bestie Kimi managed to get into contact with the person who ran the event and got a signed copy put to one side for me. My mum went to pick it up and I was reading it that night! So, I was ecstatic and had a copy of The Quiet at the End of the World by Lauren James in my hands.

My last book buying session was just last week. I went to Waterstones Deansgate and had the amazing opportunity to interview Laure Eve (which will be coming to the blog very soon!). So, whilst I was there I picked up The Graces by Laure Eve. I then went to the other Waterstones in Manchester and they had copies of two books I am excited about in early. So, I picked up All the Invisible Things by Orlagh Collins and A Girl Called Shameless by Laura Steven.

That is all the books I have bought this month. I ended up finishing this month buying more books than I had planned. What books have you bought this month? What books are you excited for next month? Let me know in the comments below.
