March Bullet Journal Set-Up

I feel as though this is going to be a monthly feature for me to share with you what my bullet journal set-up for the month is and to be honest I love sharing it! This month’s design is my least favourite of the year so far, I’m not entirely sure why but I’m just not the biggest fan of how it turned out. But, these things are practise and practise makes perfect!

Cover Pages

For my cover pages for the month of March I decided on a bee theme. I wanted to experiment with bees and beehives to see how they would turn out. I quite like how these cover pages turned out, I feel like they stand out quite well. I decided on the quote “it’s not what you take it’s what you leave” which is from All the Bright Places by Jennifer Niven. This quote resinated with me when I read this book a while ago and thought it would be good motivation for March! For the March page I decided on a simple font that I could incorporate little bees into and I love this font!

Planning Pages

I had a similar spread in last months set-up and I used it a lot! It was useful for planning and then checking up on throughout the month. I included a month at a glance section so that I can check on dates and days easily. There is also sections for important dates, monthly goals, to do and books read and remember all of these are going to be used to keep track of the relevant things. The blog plan side of this spread is what I am going to use to track any post ideas I have, what I posted and when. As well as anything I need to do for my blog for April and any ARCs I have to read this month.

Weekly Spreads

I carried on the bee theme when it came to the weekly spreads. I wanted to continue on from last month and use smaller boxes for each day rather than bigger boxes. This seems to work a lot better for me than bigger boxes and means I don’t waste space in my journal! I quite like the theme on these pages but I’m not sure if it looks a little bit too cluttered in certain places. Either way I feel these weekly spreads will work perfectly for me! On the last monthly spread I have included quotes from two of my favourite books, The Quiet at the End of the World by Lauren James and Turtles All the Way Down by John Green.

Memories and Mood Tracker

This is another spread that I introduced last month and loved using. The memories page will become full of pictures from the month throughout March. It means I can look back on what I have done in March whenever I want. The other side of this spread is a mood tracker. This worked well for me last month and I got to watch my moods change and could also see how my mood varied at the weekend rather than during the week. The mood tracker isn’t completely finished yet I still need to highlight around each beehive to make them stand out a bit more but I can do this throughout the month!
