June Book Haul

Book HaulThis month has been quieter book buying month for me but I am glad I didn’t buy that many books. I already bought all the books released in June that I was excited about so that left me to buy very few books. I hardly went in a bookshop this month but that doesn’t mean this haul is going to be extremely small small! One of these books were gifted by publishers, this will be mentioned in brackets next to the book. Here is my June book haul!Line

Right at the start of June I went on holiday and as always I wanted to browse the books in the airport shops. I didn’t leave empty handed. I picked up a book I have been meaning to buy for a long time, Five Feet Apart by Rachael Lippencott. I actually then read this whilst I was on holiday and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Whilst I was on holiday I received some exciting book post! It was gifted to me by the lovely people at Scholastic. Take a Chance on Me by Beth Garrod (gifted). This is a book from an author I love that I am extremely excited to read! I am ready to dive into this very soon.

When I was sat in the airport feeling extremely sad that I was going home I decided to buy myself a bookish treat. It was a book that I have been looking to buy for a long time now. If I’m Being Honest by Emily Wibberley Austin Siegemund-Broka. I am hoping to read this at some point in the summer.

In June we got the exciting new that there is going to be a Hunger Games prequel released next year and I am hyped. This made me want to reread the Hunger Games immediately. That is the reason why I bought the special 10th Anniversary Hunger Games Editions by Suzanne Collins. These editions are gorgeous and even if they just sit on a book shelf I have to buy them!

LineOverall, June has been a quietish book buying month for me! I am hoping that I can keep my book buying under wraps again for the duration of July but I can’t promise anything (mainly because it is YALC month)!

What books have did you buy in June? What books are you excited for in July? Let me know in the comments below.

Happy Reading
