Hello everyone, I am really sorry that I haven’t posted anything in a long time. I had all my deadlines at university last week so I was very stressed about it all. Then I had loads of overtime at work and didn’t get the chance to post on here. But I am back now and I am exited to post and excited for Christmas. I have wanted to do this weekly meme for a long time so here we go.
Goodreads Monday is a weekly meme that is hosted by Lauren @ Lauren’s Page Turners and I cannot wait to bring you a book that is waiting to be read on my TBR list.
Goodreads Monday is a weekly meme where you pick a book that is on your TBR list and show it off. This week I am showing off The Christmasaurus by Tom Fletcher.
Published: 6th October 2016 by Penguin
“The Christmasaurus is a story about a boy named William Trundle, and a dinosaur, the Christmasaurus. It’s about how they meet one Christmas Eve and have a magical adventure. It’s about friendship and families, sleigh bells and Santa, singing elves and flying reindeer, music and magic. It’s about discovering your heart’s true desire, and learning that the impossible might just be possible.”
I found out about this book because of my love for the band McFly. Tom Fletcher is a member of McFly who have been my favourite band since I was 5. As soon as I knew he was releasing a book I had it on preorder. I ended up being lucky enough to get a personalised signed copy from Tom Fletcher after my Mum found out about a signing. Tom then announced he was making The Christmasaurus into a musical. Me and my Mum immediately knew we wanted to go. Again, we were lucky enough to get tickets to see the musical of The Christmasaurus next year. I am so excited to read this book to see what Tom’s ability to write is and also to read what I will be seeing on stage this time next year.
There you have it, my first ever Goodreads Monday. If you have read The Christmasaurus let me know I would love to hear your thoughts on the book!
