Now that we are officially into Summer, I wanted to do a little book tag all about summer reading. So, when I saw the Summer Reading Tag on Zezeewithbooks I knew it would be perfect. Here it is!

What three books do you want to read this summer?
There are three books that I definitely want to get round to reading this summer and they are Business or Pleasure by Rachel Lynn Solomon, The Seven Year Slip by Ashley Poston and Faking It by Beth Reekles. I’d like to read other books too but there are my priority reads.
Which character most embodies the traits of summer?
I think it would have to be Lara Jean Covey. I read the entirety of the To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before series one summer years ago. I feel like because of that she is the perfect embodiment of Summer for me.
What book do you most associate with summer?
It is actually two series. The To All the Boys series and The Summer I Turned Pretty series, both by Jenny Han. I have read both of these series whilst on holiday in Summer and whenever I see them I think of Summer.
What kind of books do you like to read on holiday?
I gravitate towards romance books whilst I’m on holiday. I think that is because I find them easy-to-read, joyful and romance reminds me of summer. I do quite like a thriller whilst on holiday as a break form the romance but romance is always my go-to.
Any books that hold memories to certain places?
The two Jenny Han series I mentioned earlier remind me of Lanzarote as that is where I read them. It is lovely that two of my favourite series remind me of my favourite place.
What has been your favourite book of the year so far?
That would have to be Happy Place by Emily Henry. I absolutely adore that book and could happily reread it over and over again. It broke my heart but made me so happy at the same time.
What are your plans this summer?
I’ve already been on my summer holiday right at the start of summer. So, for the rest of summer I’m planning on spending a lot of time with friends and family, going on lots of walks and reading a lot.

There you have it, the Summer Reading tag! What books are you hoping to read this summer? Let me know in the comment below!
