Happy December everyone! It is the start of a new month and the last month of 2022. So, I am back with another book haul. This haul consists of 17 books which is way more than I expected but I'm very happy with the haul. It has some books gifted by publishers, pre-orders, gifts and a couple I’ve picked up for myself. Here is my November book haul!
November is almost over and so is 2022. This month has absolutely flown by. It has been another busy month full of concerts, wedding planning, reading and days out. Here is what happened in November!
I love doing a good book tag. So, when I stumbled across this one from Kristen Kraves Books, I wanted to give it a go. I love picking a few favourites or top books as I think picking just one is so hard. Hence, the three bookish things tag! Here it is!
I finished reading Funny You Should Ask by Elissa Sussman yesterday and thoroughly enjoyed it. It was a lovely romance book told with a 'then' and 'now' narrative. I would highly recommend it. There are so many beautiful quotes in this book. So, I wanted to do what I normally do with a book that I enjoy, which is pick a quote from it and get designing.
I'm always on the lookout for new book recommendations. Be that a brand new book, a hidden gem or a book that I have had my eye on for quite a while. So, today I wanted to share some books that I have recently read and would highly recommend. These are books that should definitely be on your TBR to read soon because they are excellent. Here are some books that you should read next!
I finished reading Cemetery Boys by Aiden Thomas a couple of days ago and I loved it. It was perfect to read over Halloween and I'm looking foward to there being a sequel. There are so many beautiful quotes in this book. So, I wanted to do what I normally do with a book that I enjoy, which is pick a quote from it and get designing.
I've managed to get my Netgalley TBR down a lot over the past few months. There are still some books on there and I am determined to have it cleared by the end of the year. I started writing these posts each month to help me to see my TBR and hold me accountable when I haven’t read them on time. Here are some of the books that are currently on my Netgalley shelf / TBR!
By the time Carrie retires from tennis, she is the best player the world has ever seen. She has shattered every record and claimed twenty Slam titles. And if you ask her, she is entitled to every one. She sacrificed nearly everything to become the best, with her father as her coach. But six years after her retirement, Carrie finds herself sitting in the stands of the 1994 US Open, watching her record be taken from her by a brutal, stunning, British player named Nicki Chan. At thirty-seven years old, Carrie makes the monumental decision to come out of retirement and be coached by her father for one last year in an attempt to reclaim her record.
Technically, it isn't autumn just yet but I am very ready to start reading some autumn books! So, I wanted to share a little TBR of the books I'm hoping to read this autumn. Autumn starts later this month so I want to be ready. Here are the books I want to read this autumn!
I did a post early on into 2022 about some of my auto-buy authors (find it here). I have found so many more auto-buy authors since writing that post. This means that I will automatically buy anything that they release. So, I wanted to share some more of my auto-buy authors! Here they are!
