Hello all, welcome to another top 10 Sunday. This weeks topic is favourite authors. Everyone knows you cannot just have one favourite author, it is impossible to choose.

Without further ado, here we go.

1. Emma Donoghue

Emma Donoghue became my favourite author as soon as I read Room. She is such an interesting writer whose books capture my attention. I can’t wait for her new book The Wonder to be released.

2. Rainbow Rowell

I had a time where all that I read were Rainbow Rowell books. Once I finished one I just wanted more of her writing. I just love her books. All of them are different and cover many different topics. Her books are ones that I will read over and over.

3. Roald Dahl

Roald Dahl was one of my favourite authors as a child. I read all of his books over and over. His books are so different from any children’s books I had read before and so imaginative. I still re-read his books now and still think that they are brilliant.

4. Rick Yancey

The 5th Wave series is currently one of my favourite series. It is so well written and intruiging. Due to this he became one of my favourite authours. His books just always seem to captivate me and I love them.

5. John Green

The Fault in Our Stars was the book that got me back into reading after a very long reading slump. Due to this I just wanted to read more and more of his books as soon as I could. All of his stories are brilliant and his writing is amazing.

6. J.K Rowling

Harry Potter is a series that I will always love. I am currently re-reading them and they still bring me so much joy. She created a magical world that I love being a part of. Her writing is brilliant. J.K Rowling is a magical author with so much talent.

7. Suzanne Collins

The Hunger Games series for me was amazing. This was down quite obviously to Suzanne Collins. Her writing captivated me. She writes things that made me really think about topics I hadn’t thought of before. I really like her writing style.

8. Nicola Yoon

Although Nicola Yoon has only released one novel, soon to be two I love her writing. The story she told in Everything Everything was beautiful. I cannot wait for her next book to be released. Due to her writing style and creativity, she is now one of my favourite authors.

9. Jennifer Niven

I loved All the Bright Places and although, this is the only Jennifer Niven book that I have read she quickly became one of my favourite authors. I just love her writing style and can’t wait to read more of her books.

10. Carrie Hope Fletcher

Carrie Hope Fletcher is a role model for me. So as soon as I knew she was going to be releasing a book I was excited. After reading All I Know Now, she was even more of a role model to me. Then she released her novel On the Other Side and she became one of my favourite authors.
