screen-shot-2016-12-19-at-18-28-29

Hello all, I am so glad to be back posting on my blog again! This is the second Goodreads Monday I have done and I am excited for this one!

Goodreads Monday is a weekly meme that is hosted by Lauren @ Lauren’s Page Turners and I cannot wait to bring you a book that is waiting to be read on my TBR list.

Goodreads Monday is a weekly meme where you pick a book that is on your TBR list and show it off. This week I am showing off The X-Files: Origins: Agent of Chaos by Kami Garcia.

Published: 3rd January 2017

Synopsis:

“How did Fox Mulder become a believer? How did Dana Scully become a skeptic? The X-Files Origins has the answers.

The X-Files Origins: Agent of Chaos explores the teen years of Fox Mulder, the beloved character depicted in the cult-favorite TV show The X-Files. His story is set in the spring of 1979, when serial murder, the occult, and government conspiracy were highlighted in the news.

The book will follow Mulder as he experiences life-changing events that set him on the path to becoming an FBI agent.”

My Comments:

I am a huge fan of the TV show The X Filesso much so that my backpack for university is covered in patches all about the show. As soon as I heard they were going to be publishing origin stories about both Fox Mulder and Dana Scully I couldn’t wait for them to be released. I have Mulder’s origin story on pre-order ready for it to arrive on Wednesday. I really cannot wait to give this a read and get back into a series with characters I adore so much!

There you have it, my first ever Goodreads Monday. If you have read or plan on reading The X-Files: Origins: Agent of Chaos let me know I would love to hear your thoughts on the book!
