Hello all, it’s Lois! February was another spectacular month! I am so happy with how this blog is going along. I have posted something on this blog everyday of this month and that is a huge achievement for me! I have dedicated an awful lot of time to blogging this month and I couldn’t be happier. David has been really busy this month with his university work and hasn’t been able to post as much as he would like to but hopefully he isn’t as busy next month. Let’s hope this month is even better!
Lets get on with this wrap-up and TBR!
I was really happy with how many books I read this month. Although it won’t seem that much, I am keeping up with my Goodreads 2017 Reading Challenge and I am very happy with this.
1) To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before by Jenny Han
“Lara Jean, who has never openly admitted her crushes, but instead wrote each boy a letter about how she felt, sealed it, and hid it in a box under her bed. But one day Lara Jean discovers that somehow her secret box of letters has been mailed, causing all her crushes from her past to confront her about the letters: her first kiss, the boy from summer camp, even her sister’s ex-boyfriend, Josh. As she learns to deal with her past loves face to face, Lara Jean discovers that something good may come out of these letters after all.”
Rating: ★★★★☆
2) The Hundred Lies of Lizzie Lovett by Chelsea Sedoti
“A teenage misfit named Hawthorn Creely inserts herself in the investigation of missing person Lizzie Lovett, who disappeared mysteriously while camping with her boyfriend. Hawthorn doesn’t mean to interfere, but she has a pretty crazy theory about what happened to Lizzie. In order to prove it, she decides to immerse herself in Lizzie’s life. That includes taking her job… and her boyfriend. It’s a huge risk — but it’s just what Hawthorn needs to find her own place in the world.”
Rating: ★★★☆☆
3) P.S I Still Love You by Jenny Han
“Lara Jean didn’t expect to really fall for Peter.
She and Peter were just pretending. Except suddenly they weren’t. Now Lara Jean is more confused than ever.
When another boy from her past returns to her life, Lara Jean’s feelings for him return too. Can a girl be in love with two boys at once?”
Rating: ★★★★☆
I couldn’t get enough of Lara Jean’s story so I had to listen to the sequel as soon as I could. I finished this just yesterday and will be reviewing it very soon.
4) The One Memory of Flora Banks by Emily Barr
“Seventeen-year-old Flora Banks has no short-term memory. Her mind resets itself several times a day, and has since the age of ten, when the tumour that was removed from Flora’s brain took with it her ability to make new memories. That is, until she kisses Drake, her best friend’s boyfriend, the night before he leaves town. Miraculously, this one memory breaks through Flora’s fractured mind, and sticks. Flora is convinced that Drake is responsible for restoring her memory and making her whole again. So when an encouraging email from Drake suggests she meet him on the other side of the world, Flora knows with certainty that this is the first step toward reclaiming her life.”
Rating: ★★★★☆
This is another book that I finished yesterday. I was so caught up in the story that I just couldn’t put it down when I had got into it. I will be reviewing this book very soon too.
We have posted so much on the blog this month and I am really happy with it. We have posted at least one post everyday this month!
