screen-shot-2017-01-24-at-11-59-00

Hello all and welcome to another Top Ten Tuesday! This week’s top ten topic is a Fathers day freebie. This is one of the hardest topics ever for me. My Dad doesn’t read at all which means no books I have passed on to my Dad. So, instead I am going to talk about my favourite Dads in the movies Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish.

So without further ado, here is this weeks Top Ten Tuesday, favourite Dads in the movies.

1) Arthur Weasley

I had to include Arthur Weasley in this list. He is one of my favourite Dads in both book form and movie form. He is a really good Dad to all of his children. I also love how curious he is about all things Muggle. I would love to be so curious about something. Everything seems to excite Arthur Weasley.

200.gif2) Mrs Doubtfire

Now this one is confusing to anyone who has not watch this hilarious movie. This is one of my favourite roles that Robin Williams has ever played. The lengths that this character goes to to be a good Dad to his kids. Mrs Doubtfire is just hilarious and I love it!

tenor3) Mac MacGuff

Mac is the Dad in the movie Juno. Juno is one of my favourite films both for the acting, the story and the soundtrack that it has. Mac deals with his daughter Juno’s teen pregnancy perfectly and he is a fantastic Dad. Mac’s character just really makes me smile.

How can anyone say that Marlin is a bad Dad? Other than losing his son Nemo (which isn’t his fault). He travels across the ocean in search for his missing son. He has taken care of him from the minute is born and put Nemo in front of himself always.

KM3Vaf.gif5) Charlie Hinton

Charlie is the Dad from the movie Daddy Day Care. This is one of my favourite movies of all time. I have watched it over and over and know most of the words. Charlie is a hilarious Dad who looks after his child. I loved watching their relationship in the film and laughed non-stop.

Now Carl isn’t exactly a father in the movie UP! Instead he is a standin father for Russell. UP! is an amazing movie and I just love the character of Carl. He makes me laugh non-stop but at the same time he looks after Russell.

There you have it, this weeks Top Ten Tuesday, favourite Dads in the movies! There aren’t 10 in this list because it is so hard to think of 10 Dads in movies that are good Dads. Don’t forget to leave links to your Top 10 Tuesday below!

  1. I looove Carl, he’s such a good character, how he’s protective and has a flaw as a character but also ultimately kind and loving and tries his best to be a good father ❤
