Hey guys, it’s Lois! I am back with another Fierce Fangirl Friday!

Fierce Fangirl Fangirl Friday is a weekly meme hosted by Jackie @ Too Much of a Book Nerd. This weekly meme is where you can fangirl about literally anything, films, books, TV shows, music and more.

So, let’s get on with the fangirling.

32710790 (1)“Feelings are part of life – feelings are life. If you take away what people feel, you take away anything meaningful. Wanting to diminish the evil in this world is a good cause, one I have fought for the majority of my life, but not like this . . .

Cherry has a hidden talent. She can see things other people can’t and she decided a long time ago to use this skill to help others. As far as the rest of the town is concerned she’s simply the kind-hearted young woman who runs the local bakery, but in private she uses her gift to add something special to her cakes so that after just one mouthful the townspeople start to feel better about their lives. They don’t know why they’re drawn to Cherry’s bakery – they just know that they’re safe there and that’s how Cherry likes it. She can help them in secret and no one will ever need to know the truth behind her gift.

And then Chase arrives in town and threatens to undo all the good Cherry has done. Because it turns out she’s not the only one who can see what she sees . . .”

I have been waiting for this book to be released for so long now! Carrie Hope Fletcher is definitely one of my favourite authors. Her other novel “On the Other Side” has been my favourite book for a while now. I cannot wait to get reading this after it was released yesterday! I will also be seeing Carrie when she plays Wednesday in the Addams Family Musical in August and then I will be meeting her at her book signing in September! I cannot wait!

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAFor the past three weeks my family have been away on a road trip in California. I went on holiday to Lanzarote instead. Seems a silly decision to make but I made it! So for the weeks I have been at home I have been looking after my dog Maggie. The last few days before my family come back it is just me and Maggie at home because David is also away with his Dad. So, I am fangirling about Maggie today because she has kept me company for a long time and she is my best friend!

Here she is with my Carrie Hope Fletcher novella on her head!

There you have it, this week’s Fierce Fangirl Friday! What have you been fangirling about this week?
