66 Books & Road Trip Book Haul
Last weekend, my two best friends and I, went on a bookish road trip. We visited a number of book shops and visited 66 Books for their 'book club weekend'. I did a post about the whole weekend a couple of days ago, so be sure to check out that one. I wanted to share the 24 books I picked up over the weekend. Here is my 66 books and road trip book haul!
Happyhead – Josh Silver
I am always on the lookout for a new dystopian novel to dive into. So, when I saw Happyhead floating around on Twitter with people saying it was Squid Games meets They Both Die at the End, I knew it was a book I had to read. It well and truly lived up to my expectations and was extraordinary! It is certainly one to pick up if you are a dystopian fan.

Five Survive – Holly Jackson
Eighteen year old Red and her friends are on a road trip in an RV, heading to the beach for Spring Break. It’s a long drive but spirits are high. Until the RV breaks down in the middle of nowhere. There’s no mobile phone reception and nobody around to help. And as the wheels are shot out, one by one, the friends realise that this is no accident. There’s a sniper out there in the dark watching them and he knows exactly who they are. One of the group has a secret that the sniper is willing to kill for.

The book is full beautiful quotes, so, I wanted to do what I normally do with a book that I enjoy, which is pick a quote from it and get designing.

Highly Suspicious and Unfairly Cute – Talia Hibbert
After reading and loving the Brown Sisters trilogy by Talia Hibbert, I was beyond excited to see she was releasing a YA romance novel. I have to say, I was a little bit apprehensive going into this one as I wasn’t too sure how her writing would translate from adult romance to YA romance. Let me tell you, she did it wonderfully! Highly Suspicious and Unfairly Cute is such an adorable, heart-warming and fun YA romance that I would highly recommend.

I can't miss out on writing this post though. So, I am back with another what I've read post which is a bunch of mini reviews for the books I read in December (so far). Here they are!
