On the last weekend of April I took a trip to London! This trip was to watch my Mum run the London Marathon (which she did and I am so proud of her!). I arrived in London on Saturday ahead of the marathon on Sunday, so me being me I had to take a trip to one of my favourite places, Foyles Charring Cross! I bought quite a few books in Foyles so I thought I would do a book haul! Here are the books I bought in London!
I bought a total of 7 books in my trip to Foyles and I don’t regret any of my purchases! I dragged my younger sister into Foyles with me and she doesn’t read but she is wonderful at carrying books around for me! So, thank you Katie for dealing with my Foyles excitement.
The first book I picked up was The Good Girl’s Guide to Murder by Holly Jackson. I have been looking to pick this up since it was announced at YALC last year. I started it immediately that night and I am loving it so far!
The next book I picked up was How to Make Friends with the Dark by Kathleen Glasgow. Sarah from The Little Contemporary Corner has spoken highly of this book and even though she let me borrow her proof I knew I would like this book so I decided to buy my own copy!
I then spotted The Disasters by M.K England on the YA highlights table and immediately picked it up. Having wanted this book since last year I was so excited to finally see it in person and had to pick up a copy! I cannot wait to finally read this book.
Another book I picked up from the YA highlights table with The Beauty That Remains by Ashley Woodfolk. I was drawn into this book by its cover and then once I read the synopsis I added it to my pile of books immediately. I hadn’t heard of it before but I am excited to read it!
I stuck at the YA highlights table and picked up Always Never Yours by Emily Wibberley and Austin Siegemund-Broka. I have heard quite a lot about this book but had never seen it in person before. As soon as I did I picked it up and added it to my pile. This is another book I cannot wait to read.
The last book I picked up from the YA highlights table was Tyler Johnson Was Here by Jay Coles. I had heard so many wonderful things about this book but had never had the chance to pick it up and read it. So, when I saw it in Foyles I immediately added it to my pile of books and I cannot wait to read it soon!
The last book I picked up whilst I was in Foyles was Made You Up by Francesca Zappia. I have been wanting to pick this book up for a long time and as soon as I saw it on the shelf in Foyles I added it to my pile. I have heard so many amazing things about Francesca’s books and cannot wait to read this!
That is all the books I bought whilst in London for the weekend! I am so please with the books I bought and cannot wait to read them all! Have you read any of these books? Let me know in the comments below!
You have an incredible stack of books there! I hope you enjoy all of them 💕😍💕

Thank you! I actually wasn’t a fan of AGGGTM for a few reasons, but I can understand why people have loved it!
