I’ve been visiting a lot of book shops on my travels recently which means I’ve added a lot of books to my wish list. I love using my wish list to keep an eye on books I want to purchase soon and to add books to it that catch my eye whilst out. Quite often I will buy myself a book off this list as a little treat to myself and it brings me a lot of joy.
I thought I’d share some of the books I’ve recently added to my wish list. Here they are!

Keeping Two by Jordan Crane
A young couple is stuck in traffic, reading a book aloud to each other to pass the time.
The relationship is already strained, but between the encroaching road rage, and a novel that hits way too close to home, tensions are running especially high by the time they arrive back at their apartment.

I picked this one up in Mr B’s Emporium whilst in Bath over the weekend and I’m so mad at myself for not buying it there and then. It seems like it is almost impossible to order it easily online. So, this is one I’m going to be keeping my eye out to see in shops as it sounds so interesting and looked stunning.
Deep End by Ali Hazelwood
Scarlett Vandermeer is swimming upstream. A Junior at Stanford and a student-athlete who specializes in platform diving, Scarlett prefers to keep her head down, concentrating on getting into med school and on recovering from the injury that almost ended her career. She has no time for relationships—at least, that’s what she tells herself.
Swim captain, world champion, all-around aquatics golden boy, Lukas Blomqvist thrives on discipline. It’s how he wins gold medals and breaks records: complete focus, with every stroke. On the surface, Lukas and Scarlett have nothing in common. Until a well-guarded secret slips out, and everything changes.
So they start an arrangement. And as the pressure leading to the Olympics heats up, so does their relationship. It was supposed to be just a temporary, mutually satisfying fling. But when staying away from Lukas becomes impossible, Scarlett realizes that her heart might be treading into dangerous water…

A diver and swimmer romance, written by Ali Hazelwood, sign me up immediately! This one sounds like it is going to be amazing. I’m looking forward to seeing how Ali Hazelwood will write a sports romance. I’m sure I’ll be buying this one when it comes out next year.
First-Time Caller by B.K Borison
Aiden Valentine has a secret: he’s fallen out of love with love. And as the host of Baltimore’s romance hotline, that’s a bit of a problem. But when a young girl calls in to the station asking for dating advice for her mom, the interview goes viral, thrusting Aiden and Heartstrings into the limelight.
Lucie Stone thought she was doing just fine. She has a good job; an incredible family; and a smart, slightly devious kid. But when all of Baltimore is suddenly scrutinizing her love life-or lack thereof—she begins to question if she’s as happy as she thought. Maybe a little more romance wouldn’t be such a bad thing.
Everyone wants Lucie to find her happy ending… even the handsome, temperamental man calling the shots. But when sparks start to fly behind the scenes, Lucie must make the final call between the radio-sponsored happily ever after or the man in the headphones next to her.

I’m so intrigued by this one. I’ve loved the books I’ve read in the Lovelight Farm series by the same author and I’m looking forward to reading a books with brand new characters in a brand-new setting. I think this one will be the perfect present to buy myself when I’ve had a bad day.
Things We Lost in the Fire by Mariana Enríquez
A woman returns to the rundown suburb of Buenos Aires her family once called home. From the safety of her window, she watches as a teenage prostitute raises her five-year-old son on the street. They sleep outside, surrounded by pimps and addicts, psychopaths and dealers, worshippers of the occult and corrupt police.
One day, the mother and the dirty kid are gone, and the dismembered body of a child is found in the neighbourhood. Is the murder part of a satanic ritual, or a gangland killing? Could it be the dirty kid, and if so, is his mother a victim too; or an accomplice; or his killer?

This is another that I spotted recently whilst out in bookshops. It sounds like a terrifying and thrilling collection of short stories that I’m looking forward to reading at some point. I’ve seen so many incredible things about the author recently so I’m even more intrigued.

There you have it some of the books that I’ve added to my wish list recently. If you want to look at other books I’ve added to my wish list, you can find it here. What books have you added to your wish list recently? Let me know in the comments!
