2018 Blogging/Reading Goals

Today’s post is going to be all about my blogging and reading goals for 2018. I have a few ambitions and goal when it comes to both blogging and reading. I want to look back at this post at the end of the year to see where I got up to with each goal and comment on them. So, here we go with my 2018 blogging/reading goals!

Read 30 Books!

Last year I read a total of 27 books. My plan for last year was to read 30 books. So I have decided my goal for this year will be 30 books again. I have never read 30 books in one year and to finally get there will be a big accomplishment for me. To get this goal I plan on reading at least 2 books every month. It helps that I have go back into audiobooks again. Hopefully I read 30 books this year maybe even more than that.

Go to YALC!

I really hope I get the opportunity to go to YALC this year. After seeing a lot of my blogger friends attend last year I decided to make it my goal to go in 2018! It all depends on if I can get the time off work and have the money to afford tickets, accommodation and transport. I will be putting money aside every month to put towards YALC tickets. I really hope I get to experience YALC this year!

Meet more bloggers and go to more blogger events!

I met so many bloggers in 2017 and I hope to meet even more in 2018! In order to do this I plan on going to more blogger events, more book events and speaking to more people about blogging. I feel like I was quiet in terms of interacting with bloggers in 2017 and plan on interacting with blogger a lot more in 2018. I am going to plan on finding bloggers to join in on guest posts. Re-read up to book 4 in the Harry Potter series!

I have been trying to re-read the Harry Potter series for a few years now. I always seem to start a book and then put it down to never pick it up again. This year I plan on reading up to Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. I love the Harry Potter series and really want to delve into the world again. I just got the first three book in audiobook form for Christmas so I will certainly be listening to them!

Reach 1500 across my blog and Twitter!

I am currently at 1000 followers across both platforms. I am going to try my best this year to reach 1500 if not surpass that. I am going to try and schedule tweets, join in more on Twitter chats. Also, I plan on posting everyday in January and after that at least 4 times a week. I hope that I may even be able to do a few months this year with a blog post everyday.

There you have it here are my blogging and reading goals in 2018! I hope that all of these goals are reached.
