It is Monday again! I didn’t blog for a couple of days and it felt very weird! I wasn’t feeling too well over the weekend and after over a month of posting everyday I took a tiny break.
Goodreads Monday is a weekly meme that is hosted by Lauren @ Lauren’sPageTurners and I cannot wait to bring you a book that is waiting to be read on my TBR list. This week I am showing off We Come Apart by Sarah Crossan and Brian Conaghan.
Publication Date: 1st January 2018
“Nicu has emigrated from Romania and is struggling to find his place in his new home. Meanwhile, Jess’s home life is overshadowed by violence. When Nicu and Jess meet, what starts out as friendship grows into romance as the two bond over their painful pasts and hopeful futures. But will they be able to save each other, let alone themselves?”
I have been looking to read this book for a long time! It seems like a different kind of read in the way it is formatted and I had no idea it was formatted like this. It is formatted in verse. At first I thought it was poetry and got confused. I am excited to give this book a read finally after hearing so many great things about it.
There you have it, this weeks Goodreads Monday. If you have read or plan on reading In Search of Us let me know in the comments, I would love to hear your thoughts on the book below!
