TEENSgate Blogger Event #4

At the beginning of March I went the the fourth TEENSgate blogger event. I love these events not only because they mean I get to finish work early but also because I get to see all my blogger friends!

This months event was all about Love, Simon by Becky Albertalli. Penguin kindly sent us all copies of Love, Simon at the previous event and we spent this event discussing the book and what we think the film will be like.

This blogger event was sponsored by Penguin Random House (thank you!). They sent us all a lot of food to eat throughout this event. Popcorn and Oreos, these all made us bloggers very happy! Penguin Random house wanted us all to help in the promotion of both books and in return they would be sharing any posts we make across their social media accounts.

Whilst at the event Kimi and Fiona had the idea to pay tribute to Love, Simon in a unique way. They took inspiration from The All-American Rejects music video for Dirty Little Secret. Here is the result:

It was lovely to go to this event and speak to all the bloggers. I have met so many new people through the blogger events. It was lovely to see Lottie, Sarah, Amy, Lauren, Becky and Beth again.

We aren’t to sure when the next event will be but whenever it may be I am excited to go!
