Another month has come to an end. I can’t believe we aren’t far away from 2019. I am 21 in October and I can’t believe it is nearly my birthday already! So, let’s get on with what happened in September.![]()

I read 4 books this month. 1 audio book, and 3 novels. I am getting a little faster at reading and it is making reading as much as possible on my break at work a lot easier. Here are the books I read this month:
- Rosie Loves Jack by Mel Darbon (Novel) 5★‘s
- Dear Evan Hansen by Val Emmich (Novel) 4★‘s
- P.S. I Still Love You by Jenny Han (Audiobook) 4★‘s
- More Happy Than Not by Adam Silvera (Novel) 4★‘s

This month has been a busy month. I started a new job and had to get used to a new shedule so I struggled at first to write and publish blog posts. Towards the end of the month I got into a schedule and I have manged to get a post out every day for the last week of September. I am hoping to post even more in October! Here are my top 5 posts for September:
Bookish Bucket List
They Both Die at the End Quote
October Releases I’m Excited About
Question Time with Laura Wood – Author of A Sky Painted Gold
21 Things I Want to do Whilst I am 21

I am thinking about upping my reading goal again to 55 but at the minute I am keeping it the same. I am reading a lot more than I thought I would this year. I am currently at 7 books ahead of schedule with my reading challenge at the minute. I have read a total of 43 books this year. I now have £215 saved up, this is after putting aside £5 for every book I read this year. Me and my Mum have decided we are going to go to Barcelona with the money we have saved up from reading this year.

At the beginning of the month I left the job I had for 3 years! I had a lovely last day and the team I worked with were so lovely when I left. In between leaving my old job and starting my new job I had 4 days completely free. So, me and David packed a bag and took ourselves for a couple nights to the lovely city of York.
I loved York so much! We visited a museum, went shopping, relaxed in coffee shops, eat amazing food and had a wonderful time. Even though it rained extremely heavy on our last day there when we wanted to walk the city walls, we still had a lovely time and want to go back!
Then I started my new job. I am loving it so far, I am learning new things and work with lovely people!
I also got the opportunity to interview Laura Wood this month. She was so lovely and answered whatever questions I threw at her. The event that followed when I interviewed her at the Waterstones, Deansgate in Manchester was also excellent and I loved seeing all my friends there.
I started learning how to make watercolour quote images this month too. I am loving doing them and they are so relaxing to make. I am hoping I get better at them as time goes on because I want to do a post about them!
That is all that happened in September! October is going to be one very busy month! I turn 21 on the 4th, I am in Disneyland in the middle of the month and have a book event at the end of the month! October is going to be exciting!
