Blog Anniversary Memories

memorie.pngI cannot quite believe that I have been blogging for 3 years! Time seems to have flown by whilst I have been blogging. I have had an excellent three years blogging and meeting so many wonderful friends thanks to blogging. This is going to be a little post to recap the last year I have had whilst blogging and all my memories that I have had thanks to taking the plunge in making a blog 3 years ago. I did something very similar last year and it was lovely to look back at that post whilst writing this one! Here is my 3 years blog anniversary memories!LineI have done so many incredible things in the past year thanks to blogging and it is so lovely to look back on them and enjoy the memories. One of the first things I had the opportunity of doing in the past year was interviewing the amazing authors Adam Silvera and Becky Albertalli! This is an opportunity I will never ever forget and I am still starstruck thinking about it now!

IMG_20190208_194621_1Next I had the opportunity to interview Simon James Green and Lev Rosen. These are two authors I had such an incredibly fun chat with in which I laughed non-stop. This interview happened whilst I was having quite difficult time with other things in my life and it made me appreciate the good moments even more!

Next up I had the chance to interview the wonderful Laure Eve! Laure was such a fun author to interview, up to answer all the questions I had and just overall a wonderful person!

In March I had the chance to meet Angie Thomas for the second time. Angie is one of my favourite authors and meeting her and talking to her about her books is always incredible. Angie Thomas was one of the first authors I ever went to an event for so she hold a special place in my heart!

MVIMG_20190316_150831Also in March I got to attend the second ever Northern Young Adult Literary Festival. This is such an exciting event, especially because it is based in Preston which is very close to where I live. This is such a wonderfully organised event and was a fun-filled day! I cannot wait for next years event!

This past year I have also attended some wonderful book events. These include event with Candice Carty-Williams, Rose Edwards and Samantha Shannon. I always love attending book events however long or short they are. They are always excellent and make me so motivated to blog after leaving them.

Very recently I got to attend my second ever YALC! I spent the weekend with Sarah, Sophie, charlotte and Fi. We had an amazing weekend full of books and spending time together. We are now planning YALC for next year! YALC was incredible and an event I would never have gone to unless I had started blogging. It was so amazing to be in a room full of other bloggers and book lovers when three years ago I felt like the only person I knew who liked books.

So, two years down the line I cannot believe where this little blog and its blogger have come. I have made so many amazing friends. Special shoutout to Sarah, Sophie, Fiona, Charlotte, Kimi, Beth, Lauren and so many more for being amazing and there for me when I need it. I have made friends for life thanks to this blog. Thank you all so much for the support you have given me over the past two years. I really appreciate everyone that follows this blog, comments, likes and reads any of the posts I put up on here. I am looking forward to more years blogging and cannot wait to see what happens in the next few years!

Happy Reading
