I have been seeing this book tag a lot recently and really wanted to do it for myself! I got back from Sicily a couple of days ago and I had a lot of fun (more posts about my holiday coming very soon). For now, here is the anything but books tag!
N
ame a cartoon that you love
I love Hilda! The cartoon adaptation of the Hilda graphic novels by Luke Perry. It is such a fun, cute and lovely series that is just wonderful to sit down and watch when you need something to cheer you up.
Favourite song at the moment
I am not listening to music anywhere near as much as I used to in my new job so I am very behind with new music. But at the minute I am really loving the Waitress Musical soundtrack. Specifically the song When He Sees Me! I love listening to it on the way home from work and singing my heart out even if I sound terrible!
What could you do for hours that isn’t reading?
I could watch my favourite TV shows over and over from hours on end. I love being able to re-watch some of my favourite TV shows or movies. If I am not reading it is likely that I am watching Queer Eye, Stranger Things, Orange is the New Black, Spider-Man Homecoming and a whole load more shows for the 20th times!
What is something you do that your followers would be surprised by?
I don’t think there is anything surprising about what I like to do. I love playing guitar, playing board games, going on long walks and looking at dogs. But, like I said I don’t think any of these things would surprise you all!
What is your favourite unnecessarily specific thing to learn about?
I love reading up on true crime, listening to true crime podcasts or even watching true crime TV shows. I am fascinated by so many aspects of true crime and love to spend my spare time doing research on this!
What is something unusual that you know how to do?
Make really complex friendship bracelets! I learnt how to make so many different friendship bracelets when I was back in high school and I recently found out I still know how to do a lot of those designs!
Name something you made in the last year and show it if you can!
I guess I could show my blog header and logo as something I have made in the last year. I spent so much time designing it and then putting my designs in the correct programmes and just making it look exactly how I wanted to and I am so proud of it even now!
What is your most recent personal project?
Getting myself organised! I have bought so many notebooks, journals and diaries in the last month in an attempt to make myself more organised than I already am! I love being organised and can get panicked if I am not organised so I am attempting to organise my life even more!
Tell us something that you think about often
Dogs. I love dogs a lot and I am always on the lookout for dogs when I am out and about. so dogs are on my mind a lot more than they probably should be!
Give us something that is your favourite
Spider-Man! This superhero has been my favourite for so many years and I don’t think it will ever change. I love the newest Spider-Man movies a lot and as I am writing this there is a lot of uproar surrounding Spider-Man and the MCU. All I will say on this to keep myself calm is that Spider-Man should stay in the MCU, he should be played by Tom Holland and shouldn’t be messed with by people who don’t know where his character should be going!
Say the first thing that pops into your head
Edinburgh! I am going to Edinburgh for the weekend of my 22nd birthday and I have been thinking about it a lot at the minute. I am trying to plan out what I want to do, eat and what I want to see whilst I am there. So, if you have any recommendations let me know!
There you have it, the anything but books tag! This was a lot of fun to do and I loved answering all the questions! Have you done this tag? Let me know in the comments below!
Edinburgh is a beautiful city! I hope you have an amazing time! I’d totally recommend Edinburgh Castle, and the National Museum of Scotland… it’s huge, you could probably spend a few days there!
I’ll leave a link to a blog post I wrote about everything I did to give you more ideas 🙂

I also really love true crime! That kind of sounds wrong, but they are really interesting and let’s you learn more about the human mind, in my opinion.

Ooh I love this tag.
Oh my gosh, I love rewatching my favourite TV shows. It’s a bit ridiculous how many times I’ve seen Empresses in the Palace haha.
And 100% agree on loving doggos.
