September has been a really busy, long and eventful month. I've been in a reading slump, I had an operation, my dog was very unwell and I had my house re-plastered. Here is what happened in September!
finished reading Blackout by Dhonielle Clayton, Tiffany D. Jackson, Nic Stone, Angie Thomas, Ashley Woodfolk and Nicola Yoon, a little while ago and I enjoyed it a lot. I flew through this book in a matter of sittings and would highly recommend it. I wanted to do what I normally do with a book I enjoy which is pick a quote from it and get designing. So, that is exactly what I did!
I love listening to an audiobook. They are the perfect way to get some reading done whilst driving to work, cleaning the house or just a lovely thing to listen to and relax. I've listened to quite a lot of audiobooks in the last few years and some of them I talk about a lot. Here are 5 audiobooks that I feel are worth the listen!
I love having exciting posts on my blog and this is certainly one of those! This week Jenny Downham, the author of Furious Thing, is celebrating the release of her book with a jam-packed blog tour. Today is my turn to host Jenny Downham on the blog to share a guest post. Today's post is all about women's anger in Furious Thing. Be sure to check out the other posts on this blog tour because they are all insightful and interesting!
Recently, whilst I had nothing to do and was not in the mood for reading, I decided to get creative. This normally means I pick a quote from a book I've loved recently and get designing. So, this is exactly what I did!
A couple of months ago, I shared what was on my Netgalley shelf. Of course since I posted that I have made my way through a number of the books that were on there and have added even more to it. There have been so many incredible books on my Netgalley shelf over the years and it is a place I've found so many new authors. Here is what is currently on my Netgalley shelf / TBR!

Given that I am actually on a book buying ban and was for most of the month, this is a lot of books! I did have a couple of books on pre-order, I bought a couple based on excellent reviews and I was also given a couple of books as a present! I will highlight next to the book that was gifted. So, here is my August book haul!

Hello all, I am back again with yet another book haul. I set out with excellent intentions for this month and to keep myself to buying minimal book and just making sure my haul was small. I did not succeed. I was also gifted a few books in January which I will highlight when talking… Continue reading January Book Haul!
