MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE! It is officially Christmas day which means family, presents and lots and lots of books and sweets. I thought today would be a perfect day to do the Festive Christmas Book Tag! Originally I saw this on GirlReading’s BookTube! Here is the Festive Christmas Book Tag!
A fictional family you would like to spend Christmas dinner with?
I don’t think there is anyone who would answer this question without saying the Weasleys. I am currently rereading Harry Potter (when am I not) and I have fallen in love with the Weasley family all over again. I feel like it would be a fun, cosy and magical Christmas and it would be wonderful.
A bookish item you would like to receive as a gift?
This isn’t one from a book but it is about a book if that makes sense. I would love the quote below from The Loneliest Girl in the Universe by Lauren James printed out. It is one of my favourite quotes ever hence why I made the little quote image below. If someone could make this quote look nicer and frame it, I would love them forever.
A fictional character you think would make a perfect Christmas elf?
Not to offend him or anything but I would love Dobby to be a little Christmas elf! I love Dobby a lot and having him help put up the tree and wrap presents and make Christmas dinner would all be wonderful! Obviously he could choose to do it though.
Match a book to it’s perfect Christmas song.
The Christmasaurus by Tom Fletcher and Step into Christmas by Elton John. I mean it is pretty self-explanatory.
Bah Humbug. A book or fictional character you’ve been disappointed in and should be put on the naughty list?
I’m going to just come out and say it A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder by Holly Jackson. I had so many high hopes for this book but was massively let down whilst I read it for a number of reasons.
A book or a fictional character you think deserves more love and appreciation and deserve to be put on the nice list?
No matter how long I think about this I really cannot think of anything. I know thats bad but I really can’t.
Red, Gold and Green. A book cover that has a wonderfully christmasy feel to it.
I feel like this is cheating because it has Christmas in the name but The Christmasaurus cover just screams Christmas to me and always makes me extremely excited for Christmas whatever time of year it is.
A book or series you love so much, you want everyone to find under their Christmas tree this year so they can read it and love it too?
I mean would I be anything other than predictable with this questions. If I had the magic or talent every single person would have a copy of The Loneliest Girl in the Universe by Lauren James under their tree! Told you I’m predictable. There you go the Festive Christmas Book Tag! I hope you are all having/have had a wonderful Christmas and have the best new year!
Dobby as a Christmas elf – fantastic! Great tag! 🙂
