Happy New Year everyone! It is the first day of 2020 and I can’t believe it! I am excited to see what 2020 holds for me and my blog and I am hopeful for the year! I thought to start the year out it would be perfect to do a little New Years Book Tag which I found on Cleopatra Loves Books. Here is the New Years Book Tag!

LineHow many books are you planning on reading in 2020?

I am going to set my Goodreads Challenge at 40 books this year. I originally set it at 30 books in 2018 and got to 100 books throughout the year. So, in 2020 I am going to set it at 40 and we shall see if it needs to be upped or not!

Name five books you didn’t get to read in 2019 but want to make a priority in 2020?

There is so many books that I bought in 2019 that I should have read last year but didn’t. So, there is way more than 5 that I do want to read in 2020. But, if I had to narrow it down to 5 they would be…

  • On a Sunbeam by Tillie Walden
  • Dead Popular by Sue Wallman
  • The Black Flamingo by Dean Atta
  • Infinity Son by Adam Silvera
  • Serious Moonlight by Jenn Bennett

Name a genre you want to read more of in 2020?

I want to read more thrillers in 2020. I love a good YA thriller and I would love to read even more of these in 2020. I have so many of them on my list of books for 2020 and I cannot wait to read them!

Three non-book related goals for 2020?

Finish my apprenticeship, improve on graphic design and be more organised!

Screenshot 2019-12-30 at 15.19.53What’s a book you’ve had forever that you still need to read?

Radio Silence by Alice Oseman. This is the only Alice Oseman book that I am yet to read and I am hoping to finally read this one in 2020!

One word that you’re hoping 2020 will be?

Focused!

There you have it! The New Years Book Tag! Hope you had a wonderful New Year and have a wonderful 2020!LineHappy Reading
