If you follow me on either Twitter or Instagram, then you’ve probably seen me and also The Little Contemporary Corner post a lot about the Crime Readathon we are co-hosting! Well, that readathon is starting TODAY and is continuing until midnight on the 8th November! I’m so excited to begin and thought this post would be the perfect little reminder about what is going on.

The Crime Readathon is going to focus on making us read more books from the crime genre, both fiction and non-fiction. It will also help us learn more about the genre and provide an opportunity for others to join in if they wish to do so! The readathon will run over two weeks giving you plenty of time to get a line or even a full house on the bingo card!

A quick disclaimer that we of course, do not condone violent crime and we disagree with glorifying serial killers in any way. We are running the Crime Readathon as a way to help people read more of the crime genre (fiction and non-fiction), learn more about the genre and for others to join in if they wish to do so!

Anyone can join in the Readathon at any time during the two weeks. If you want to join in for a couple of days, just one book, you can. We don’t want anyone to feel pressures to complete the bingo card or even a line, if you read only one book that is fine! It isn’t a competition, just some fun. I’ll be amazing if I even make a line on the bingo card. We just want to spend the next couple of weeks reading crime books and would love it if you joined us.

Good luck!
It’s been ages since I watched a good crime drama, so I’ll be checking out the recommendations.
