I am here again with another 'currently I'm...' post. I started doing these posts quite a while ago, all because of how nosy I am. I love knowing what other people are currently reading, watching and listening to. Here is this month’s currently I’m…
I am well aware that I own way too many books that I have yet to read, but that doesn't mean I'm not going to keep picking up more. There are so many books out there that are on my TBR but I am yet to pick up a copy of. I wanted to share the top 5 books that I want to pick up soon. I may buy these books or I'll pick them up from the library! Here are 5 books I want to pick up soon!
I am back again with another 'currently I'm...' post. I began doing these posts a while ago all because of how nosy I am when it comes to knowing what other people are currently reading, watching and listening to. So, to help my own intrigue, started these posts. Here is this month's currently I'm...
Over the past year my reading habits have been changing. I’ve been changing what books I gravitate towards, where I go to first in bookstores and so much more. I thought I would talk through my thoughts on my changing reading habit in a little blog post. Here it is.
February is almost over! This month seems to have flown by and quite a lot has happened. I went on some days out, went to the cinema, one of my libraries finally re-opened and I read a lot. Here is what happened in February!
Library assistant June knows a lot about the regulars at Chalcot Library, yet they know very little about her. When her mum - the beloved local librarian - passed away eight years ago, June stepped into her shoes. But despite their shared love of books, shy June has never felt she can live up to the village's memory of her mum. Instead, she's retreated into herself and her memories, surviving on Chinese takeaways-for-one and rereading their favourite books at home. When the library is threatened with closure, a ragtag band of eccentric locals establish the Friends of Chalcot Library campaign. There's gentlemanly pensioner Stanley, who visits the library for the computers and the crosswords, cantankerous Mrs B, who is yet to find a book she approves of, and teenager Chantal, who just wants a quiet place to study away from home. But can they compel reclusive June to join their cause? If June wants to save the library, she finally has to make some changes to her life: opening up her heart to friendship, opportunities and maybe even more . . .
January is almost over! It has been a busy month which has gone both incredibly quick but also incredibly slow. I've been on some days out, spent a lot of time getting things ready to decorate my house and a whole lot more. Here is what happened in January!
Happy New Year everyone! It is the first day of 2022 and I am looking forward to for a brand new year and what it has in store. Don't get me wrong, I am also terrified about what it has in store but I'm staying positive. I'm generally hopeful for the year to come. I thought to start out the year, it would be perfect to do a little New Years book tag which I found on Cleopatra Loves Books. Here is the New Years Book Tag!
It seems like only a few months ago that I was posting for the 800th time and now I am about to post my 1000th post! I cannot believe it. I thought I would celebrate by doing a little Q&A. I asked for questions on social media (Twitter and Instagram) and I can’t wait to answer them!
I am so nosy when it comes to seeing what other people are currently watching, reading and listening to. So, to help with my own intrigue, I've been writing a monthly post for a while now in which I share what I am reading, listening to and watching. Here is this month's currently I'm...
