April Book Haul!

Book Haul

I’m back with yet another large book haul! April has been the month that bookshops opened again and boy did I take advantage of that, amongst other things. My April book haul for 2021 consists of 9 books in total!

This haul consists of a few pre-orders, some presents for myself and some that I have been gifted in exchange for an honest review. Here is my April book haul!

April began with a few pre-orders dropping through my letterbox! Those books were, The Infinity Courts by Akemi Dawn Bowman which I am currently reading and loving (look out for a review soon). Also, Everyone Dies Famous in a Small Town by Bonnie-Sue Hitchcock which I am so excited to read. Then, my final pre-order was House of Hollow by Krystal Sutherland which is a stunning book that blew my mind!

When bookshops opened back up in the UK, of course I went in and treat myself to some books! I picked up Guard Your Heart by Sue Divin as I had seen it floating around the internets and a friend recommended it to me. I picked up a copy of It Ends with Us by Colleen Hoover as I’ve been told she is an author I will love. That is a correct statement because I am halfway through it and loving it so much I immediately bought another Colleen Hoover book. That was, Regretting You by Colleen Hoover which I cannot wait to get to reading.

Throughout the month I was surprised with some wonderful book mail from a number of publishers. Penguin sent me a couple of books this month, they were Kate in Waiting by Becky Albertalli which I posted a review for the other day and adored. Also, What Beauty There Is by Cory Anderson which was extraordinary! I was also surprised by SparkPoint Studio with an American copy of Kate in Waiting by Becky Albertalli which is beautiful!

Overall, I ended the months with 9 more physical books than I started out the month with. I’ve read 4 of the 9 so and I’m the middle of 2 of the others. So, I am very pleased with my reading progress this month. I have some pre-orders arriving in May and I really cannot wait for them!
