My Netgalley TBR is quite out of control at the moment. Writing these posts helps me see what is on my TBR and work out when I need to read them though, which is excellent. There have been so many amazing books on my Netgalley shelf over the years and it is a place that I’ve found so many new authors and books.
I wanted to share some of the books that are currently on my Netgalley. Here are some of the books that are currently on my Netgalley shelf / TBR!

The Setup by Lizzy Dent

Mara Williams reads her horoscope every day – but she wasn’t expecting to be in a whole other country when destiny finally found her. Just as a fortune teller reveals that her true love is about to arrive, a gorgeous stranger literally walks into her life. And now Mara is determined to bring them together again . . . Surely even fate needs a nudge in the right direction sometimes?
But while Mara is getting ready for ‘the one’, the universe intervenes. Her new flatmate Ash is funny, and kind, and sexy as hell . . . There was no predicting this: it’s as if her destiny just arrived on her doorstep.
So will Mara put her destiny in fate’s hands – or finally trust herself to reach for the stars?
This book has been marketed for fans of Beth O’Leary, which I most certainly am. So, of course I want to give this one a read very soon. I’ve seen some excellent things about Lizzy Dent’s books in the past so I am looking forward to finally reading one of her books and seeing what I think.

Beating Heart Baby by Lio Min

When artistic and sensitive Santi arrives at his new high school, everyone in the wildly talented marching band welcomes him with open arms. Everyone except for the prickly, proud musical prodigy Suwa, who doesn’t think Santi has what it takes to be in the band.
But Santi and Suwa share painful pasts, and when they open up to each other, a tentative friendship begins. And soon, that friendship turns into something more. . . .
Will their fresh start rip at the seams as Suwa seeks out a solo spotlight, and both boys come to terms with what it’ll take, and what they’ll have to let go, to realize their dreams?
This book isn’t out for a couple of months but it is already getting amazing reviews. I cannot wait to read this book and to see what I think myself. It sounds like it is going to be such an interesting red and one that I will not want to put down. I’ll be review this closer to release date so keep an eye out for that.

Something Wilder by Christina Lauren

Growing up the daughter of notorious treasure hunter and absentee father Duke Wilder left Lily without much patience for the profession…or much money in the bank. But Lily is nothing if not resourceful, and now uses Duke’s coveted hand-drawn maps to guide tourists on fake treasure hunts through the red rock canyons of Utah. It pays the bills but doesn’t leave enough to fulfill her dream of buying back the beloved ranch her father sold years ago, and definitely not enough to deal with the sight of the man she once loved walking back into her life with a motley crew of friends ready to hit the trails. Frankly, Lily would like to take him out into the wilderness—and leave him there.
Leo Grady knew mirages were a thing in the desert, but they’d barely left civilization when the silhouette of his greatest regret comes into focus in the flickering light of the campfire. Ready to leave the past behind him, Leo wants nothing more than to reconnect with his first and only love. Unfortunately, Lily Wilder is all business, drawing a clear line in the sand: it’s never going to happen.
But when the trip goes horribly and hilariously wrong, the group wonders if maybe the legend of the hidden treasure wasn’t a gimmick after all.
I cannot wait to read this one! It sounds so amazing and I know I am going to enjoy it because of its author. So, I am going to be reading this whilst on holiday. I’m looking forward to seeing how this differs to Christina Lauren’s other books too. I’ll be sharing my thoughts soon!
