Once again, I’ve been on the look out for some new books to add to my TBR and so many new books are coming out in July. I wanted to share the ones I’m particularly excited about in this post. So, here are the new book releases I’m excited about in July!

Murder on a School Night by Kate Weston
All Kerry wants to do is stay at home with her rom-coms and strict retainer schedule. Instead, her BFF Annie has roped her into going to their first sixth-form party to investigate who’s cyberbullying Heather, the most popular girl in school.
On the cusp of kissing her dreamy crush, Scott, Kerry discovers the body of Heather’s second in command – suffocated with a menstrual cup. Within days, another student turns up dead, this time with a sanitary pad across the eyes. Now Annie and Kerry are officially on the case to stop the menstrual murderer . . . period.

A book that has got murder, mystery and friendship sounds like a book I am going to thoroughly enjoy. Kate Weston writes hilarious books and I’m sure this one will be just that. Plus, I’ve seen some amazing reviews for it online already and can’t wait to read it.

Business or Pleasure by Rachel Lynn Solomon
Chandler Cohen lies for a living.
When she accepts her next ghostwriting gig penning a memoir for cult actor Finnegan Walsh, it should be a dream job.
However, Chandler knows him best as something else: her worst-ever one-night stand . . .
She’s determined to keep things professional. But when she finally admits to Finn that their night together wasn’t as mind-blowing as he thought, he’s mortified, and determined to make amends.
So, they strike a deal. During the day, they’ll work on the book, and at night, she’ll school him in the art of satisfaction.
As they grow closer, the line between business and pleasure starts to blur.
Can Chandler and Finn have both, or will they have to choose?

Any romance that is written by Rachel Lynn Solomon is a romance book that I will be adding to my TBR. This one sounds absolutely incredible and I have no doubt at all that I am going to love it! I’ll share my thoughts on it soon too!

The Seven Year Slip by Ashley Poston
Sometimes, the worst day of your life happens, and you have to figure out how to live after it.
Six months ago, Clementine West had the worst day of her life. So, she came up with a plan to keep her heart safe: stay busy, work hard, take no risks. And it’s been working.
That is until one day she finds a strange man standing in her kitchen. A man with kind eyes, a crooked smile, and a recipe for the perfect lemon meringue pie. The kind of man that, before everything, she could have fallen for . . .
He’s perfect but for one thing: he lives in the past. Seven years ago, to be exact.
This should be impossible, but Clementine used to love impossible things. And maybe, just maybe, she will again. After all, love is never a matter of time – but a matter of timing.

This one sounds so unique and intriguing! I’ve loved all the books by Ashley Poston that I have read and this one sounds particularly exciting. I’ve been seeing non-stop amazing reviews about this one recently which makes me even more excited to read it!

My Week with Him by Joya Goffney
Nikki’s always had a difficult relationship with her mum. So when she finds herself homeless at the start of spring break, she decides to rage-quit Texas and give California a shot, to pursue her dream music career.
Until her best friend and long-time crush, Malachai, discovers her plan, and convinces her to spend spring break with him, so he can show her all the reasons she should stay in Texas.
But when Nikki’s little sister goes missing their plans are interrupted, and Nikki is forced to face her feelings about both her mum and Mal. Can Nikki find the love she’s always been missing? And will it be enough to convince her to stay in Texas?

Joya Goffney is one of my auto-buy authors and for good reason. Her books are always extraordinary and I fly through reading them. This one in particular sounds amazing and I cannot wait to read it and see what I think.
