I am always curious about what other people are reading, watching and listening to. It is always an excellent way to learn more about other people and get some recommendations at the same time. So, I started doing the ‘Currently I’m…‘ posts to share my current reads, watches and what I’m listening to with other people who are just as curious as I am. Here is what I am currently reading, watching and listening to.
Currently I’m Reading…
I’m currently reading more than one book which isn’t unusual. I’ve got one physical book, an audiobook and an eBook on the go currently.
The physical book I’m reading is My Dark Vanessa by Kate Elizabeth Russell. I’m reading this one quite slowly as it is an incredibly difficult read and is harrowing. It might take me a while to get through but I’ll get through this heart-breaking story.
The audiobook I’m reading is The Summer I Turned Pretty by Jenny Han. After watching the last episode of season 2 of the TV show I just had to pick the books up again and read the entire thing. The audiobook is read by Lola Tung who plays Belly in the series which is amazing.
Finally, the eBook I’m reading is Ghosted by Rosie Mullender. I’m not too far into this one but I’m enjoying it so far. I’ve heard some excellent things about it and can’t wait to read more.
Currently I’m Listening to…
I’m currently listening to my summer playlist and loving it. There are a lot of things on there, my favourite being Thomas Headon’s new EP, Arthur Hill’s new single, You’re Not a God and Olivia Rodrigo’s new single, Bad Idea Right? Also, as always I have The 1975 who are my go to artist.
Currently I’m Watching…
I’m watching three series at the moment which are all completely different from one another. The first is The Summer I Turned Pretty which I am rewatching because I love it so much. Also, The Bear which I am now on series 2 of and loving. It has taken me by surprise by how much I’m enjoying it. Finally, me and David are watching Battlestar Galactica. We started watching this on a whim and are completely hooked on it. It is excellent!
