I feel like it has been ages since I last did a book tag. So, when I stumbled across this one I wanted to give it a go. I found this one on Hannah’s Bookshelf. Here is the a book for all occasions tag!

Name a book that makes you cry
When I read A Man Called Ove by Fredrick Backman last year I sobbed for hours after I finished reading it. I can’t talk about the book without a tear coming to my eye. It is so a beautiful book and I’m sure I will be recommending it forever.

Name a book that makes you smile
I’m going to say The Sad Ghost Club by Lize Meddings. I re-read this at least once a year as it brings me so much joy and makes me smile a lot. I think it is incredibly relatable and heart-warming.

Name a book that makes you feel cosy
To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before by Jenny Han has been my go-to cosy book for years and it still continues to be. It makes me feel safe and warm and I feel an immediate sense of cosiness when reading this book and the rest of the series.

Name a book that transports you to a magical place
I’m not going for magical in the traditional sense of a fantasy world for this one. Instead I’ve gone for a book which whenever I discuss it transports me to the magical place of reading it for the first time. That is The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo by Taylor Jenkins Reid which is my favourite book ever.

Name a book that scared you
I literally fell out of my chair in the garden from fear whilst reading Hold Back the Tide by Melinda Salisbury. I read this one during lockdown on one of the particularly hot days in my garden. There is a certain point in this book whilst made me scream, jump and then fall out my car!
