Happy New Year everyone! It is the first day of 2021 and I'm as excited for a new year as you can be with the year we have just had. I'm looking forward to seeing what 2021 hold for me and my blog. I'm hopeful for the year to come. I thought to start the year out it would be perfect to do a little New Years Book Tag which I found on Cleopatra Loves Books. Here is the New Years Book Tag!
It is the last day of 2020 (FINALLY!). I cannot believe that tomorrow we will finally be in 2021. This past year has both flown by but also dragged in such an awful way. Despite the terrible things the year has thrown at us all I though it would be entertaining to look back on all my 'What Happened in?' posts of 2020 and see what happened throughout 2020. Here is what happened in 2020!
A couple of days ago I share some of the new books being released in January 2021 that I am excited about. I love finding out all about new books being released and getting excited to see them out in the world!
I'm here for once again but for the final time this year to bring you another post all about new books being released in January of 2021! I love finding out all about new books being released and getting excited to see them out in the world! There are so many incredible new releases coming out in the first month of 2021, so, I am going to make this a two part post! Here is part one of the January 2021 releases I’m excited for!
Felipe gets it -- he's fat. Not chubby. Not big-boned. Fat. And he doesn't need anyone to remind him, which is, of course, what everyone does. That's why he's been waiting for this moment ever since the school year began: school break. Finally, he'll be able to spend some time far away from school and the classmates who tease him incessantly. His plans include catching up on his favorite TV shows, finishing his to-be-read pile, and watching YouTube tutorials on skills he'll never actually put into practice.
As always with me, this post should be a blank screen because I am still on a book buying back. Instead, what is actually happening is a haul of 6 books. I'm so good at staying on a book buying ban...
I have no idea how this has happened but I have officially written and now posted 800 posts here on Lois Reads Books! I thought I would celebrate by doing a little Q&A. I asked for questions on social media (Twitter and Instagram) and I can't wait to answer them! Thank you so much to absolutely everyone who sent me questions and also to everyone who supports my blog! If you read all my posts, just the occasional one, or this is your first post of mine you are seeing (hi!), I appreciate you a lot and I'm so glad that people enjoy the posts I write!
From the 25th October to the 8th November 2020 the lovely Sarah and Sophie of The Little Contemporary Corner and I will be hosting the Crime Readathon! For 2 weeks we will be turning our reading time into reading crime. Today, I wanted to share with you my TBR for the Crime Readathon. If I read all the books on my TBR it will be a miracle but I will try. Here is my TBR for the Crime Readathon!
I love a good book wish list and I've been adding to mine for quite a whilst now! I like to occasionally treat myself to books on my wish list and my friends use it as a little gift ideas list! I thought today I'd share with you and discuss some of the books on my wish list. If you want to see the full list click here! Here are some of the books on my wish list!
Hello all! Hope you are all well and keeping safe. I am back with another what I read this month post! In May I read a grand total of 12 books. This is the exact same amount of books I read last month and I can't believe it. I have a lot of thoughts I want to share on the book I read in May, so, I’m going to do mini reviews for a couple, mention others and declare my love for a couple. Here is what I read in May!
