I don’t know about you, but I love reading Christmas-themed books throughout the month of December. I started reading them the minute it became December this year.
There are so many Christmas books out there and I quite often struggle to find ones I would love to read. So, I thought I would share a few Christmas-themed books that I would highly recommend reading. Here are some books to read this Christmas season!

Driving Home for Christmas by Joanna Bolouri
Driving home marks the start of the holidays for Kate and Ed, who have made this journey every Christmas of their ten-year long relationship. Normally the seasonal hits blare from the car stereo, and they are guaranteed to be wearing ridiculous jumpers in anticipation, but this year a frosty silence fills the car…
A massive argument leads to the immediate collapse of their relationship. But the show must go on, so they decide to brave their families together one last time.
With three Christmases to celebrate, an old flame waiting under the mistletoe and a shed load of expectation around their future together, this most wonderful time of year is anything but. There will be turkey, tiffs and tantrums galore, but it’s sure to be a Christmas they’ll never forget.

I picked this one up last year after speeding through my orignal Christmas TBR and I’m so glad that I did. I flew through this one in the last few days before Christmas. I enjoyed the past and present POVs and felt like the characters were very relatable. I would definitely recommend.
One Christmas Morning by Rachel Greenlaw
The moment Eva locked eyes with James over a library bookshelf, she knew she’d found her soulmate. Over ten years, they fell in love, got married and made plans to start a family. Until everything changed one Christmas three years ago, and they’ve been drifting apart ever since.
Eva hopes a friend’s Christmas party at an old manor house in Cornwall will give them the chance to reconnect… but the last thing she expects is to wake up on Christmas morning in the body of a different guest. As Eva’s forced to keep reliving Christmas Day from the perspectives of those closest to her, she realises just how much her life has fallen off track.
But can Eva break the cycle and save her future with James, before it’s too late?

This is a time-loop, magical-realism Christmas story that I thoroughly enjoyed. I didn’t know what to expect going into this one. It is slightly heavier than I expected it to be but it is packed full of heart-warming moments that I enjoyed. I think this one is perfect to read this Christmas season.
Holiday Romance by Catherine Walsh
Molly and Andrew are just trying to get home to Ireland for the holidays, when a freak snowstorm grounds their flight.
Nothing romantic has ever happened between them: they’re friends and that’s all. But once a year, for the last ten years, Molly has spent seven hours and fifteen minutes sitting next to Andrew on the last flight before Christmas from Chicago to Dublin, drinking terrible airplane wine and catching up on each other’s lives. In spite of all the ways the two friends are different, it’s the holiday tradition neither of them has ever wanted to give up.
Molly isn’t that bothered by Christmas, but—in yet another way they’re total opposites—Andrew is a full-on fanatic for the festive season and she knows how much getting back to Ireland means to him. So, instead of doing the sane thing and just celebrating the holidays together in America, she does the stupid thing. The irrational thing. She vows to get him home. And in time for his mam’s famous Christmas dinner.
The clock is ticking. But Molly always has a plan. And—as long as the highly-specific combination of taxis, planes, boats, and trains all run on time—it can’t possibly go wrong.
What she doesn’t know is that, as the snow falls over the city and over the heads of two friends who are sure they’re not meant to be together, the universe might just have a plan of its own…

This was my favourite Christmas read from last year. I picked it up completely on a whim and I’m so glad that I did. I couldn’t put it down and wanted to keep reading about Molly and Andrew. It is a perfect friends-to-lovers romance and will make your heart swell. I’m sure you will love this one!
Love in Winter Wonderland by Abiola Bello
Trey Anderson is popular and handsome, and he works at his family’s beloved Black-owned bookshop, Wonderland. Ariel Spencer is quirky, creative, and in need of a holiday temp job to cover her tuition for The Artists’ Studio. An opening at Wonderland is the answer . . . and the start of a hate-to-love journey for Trey and Ariel. When Trey and Ariel learn that Wonderland is on the brink of shutting down, can they get over their differences and team up to stop the doors from closing before thedeadline?

A Christmas story based in a book shop, what more can you want! This one is amazing and was a very fast-paced read. It has been getting amazing reviews all year and for very good reasons. It is well worth picking this one up and giving it a read this festive season.
A Merry Little Meet Cute by Julie Murphy and Sierra Simone
Bee Hobbes (aka Bianca Von Honey) has a successful career as a plus-size adult film star. With a huge following and two supportive moms, Bee couldn’t ask for more. But when Bee’s favorite producer casts her to star in a Christmas movie he’s making for the squeaky-clean Hope Channel, Bee’s career is about to take a more family-friendly direction.
Forced to keep her work as Bianca under wraps, Bee quickly learns this is a task a lot easier said than done. Though it all becomes worthwhile when she discovers her co-star is none other than childhood crush Nolan Shaw, an ex-boy band member in desperate need of career rehab. Nolan’s promised his bulldog manager to keep it zipped up on set, and he will if it means he’ll be able to provide a more stable living situation for his sister and mom.
But things heat up quickly in Christmas Notch, Vermont, when Nolan recognizes his new co-star from her ClosedDoors account (oh yeah, he’s a member). Now Bee and Nolan are sneaking off for quickies on set, keeping their new relationship a secret from the Hope Channel’s execs. Things only get trickier when the reporter who torpedoed Nolan’s singing career comes snooping around—and takes an instant interest in mysterious newcomer Bee.
And if Bee and Nolan can’t keep their off-camera romance behind the scenes, then this merry little meet cute might end up on the cutting room floor.

This one was close to being my favourite Christmas book from last year and for so many good reasons. You can’t help but love Bee and Nolan and their heart-racing romance. The author duo that brought this story to life are spectacular and I think this book deserves a lot of attention!

There you have it, some books I would highly recommend reading this Christmas season. What books would you recommend to read this Christmas? Let me know in the comments below!
