Library Book Haul!

I've worked in libraries for nearly 5 years now and I'm still not over the fact I can borrow books for FREE! Every so often I come to a realisation I can borrow so many of the books on my wishlist for free. I had that realisation a few weeks ago and it lead to me leaving work with quite a haul. Here are the books I've currently checked out of the library!

Currently I’m…

Just like usual I'm reading too many books, watching too much TV and listening to too many things. I’m always intrigued by what other people are reading, watching and listening to. I think that it is a very good way to learn more about other people and to get recommendations at the same time. So, I started doing the ‘Currently I’m…‘ posts to share my current reads, watches and what I’m listening to with other people who are just as curious as I am. Here is what I am currently reading, watching and listening to.

The Roughest Draft by Austin Siegemund-Broka and Emily Wibberley – Quote

A few days ago, I finished reading The Roughest Draft by Austin Siegemund-Broka and Emily Wibberley and I thoroughly enjoyed it. It is full of so many lovely quotes. So, I wanted to do what I normally do with a book that I enjoy, which is pick a quote from it and get designing. Here is a little image I designed for a quote from The Roughest Draft by Austin Siegemund-Broka and Emily Wibberley.

So, here are some of the books on my Netgalley TBR / shelf at the moment!

Please Read This Leaflet Carefully – Karen Havelin

was diagnosed with endometriosis in 2021. I was looking for a book that was an incredibly honest insight as to what it is like to live with endometriosis and the battle to have it diagnosed. This book was exactly that.

Little Bang – Kelly McCaughrain

It isn’t often that a YA book discusses teenage pregnancy. It is even rarer for a YA book to tackle teenage pregnancy and the topic of abortion so head-on. Little Bang is an unforgettable and poignant story that I feel everyone will learn something when they read this.
