January feels like it has gone by quickly but also feel like it has lasted forever. I’ve spent the month celebrating birthdays, reading, walking, crafting and going on a few days out. Here is what happened in January!

I’ve read a total of 11 books throughout January. I’ve loved most of them but one in particular I wasn’t a fan of. I wrote a post a couple of days ago which is full of mini reviews for the books I read in January. So, be sure to give that a read. Here is the shortened version of what I read in January!

  • The Roughest Draft by Emily Wibberley and Austin Siegemund-Broka – ★★★★
  • Please Read This Leaflet Carefully by Karen Havelin – ★★★★

January has been another month of blogging. I kept to my blog plan throughout 2023 and I’m hoping to keep it up for 2024 too. After all these years I still love blogging a lot. I wanted to share the top 5 posts I’ve enjoyed writing in January.

We started out the year and the month by going on a lovely family walk. It was nice to be out in the fresh air and made me realise how much I missed going on walks.

Me and David then spent the next few days going on days out to celebrate his birthday. We played mini golf, went to a local food market and had a couple of delicious meals. It was lovely.

We had a couple of snowy days this month too which was lovely. Me and my Dad went on a walk in the hills through the snow. It was a lovely walk with incredible views.

I spent a lovely day with one of my best friends this month. We went to a local craft shop and then spent the rest of the day watching documentaries, chatting and crafting together. It was such a relaxing day.

Over 2 years ago my family booked tickets to see Peter Kay in Manchester and this month it was finally time for the show. It was hilarious and an all round excellent show that was well worth the wait.

I got back into my walking this month and hope to actually continue it this year and no give up when it gets cold or when it is rainy.

January has been a lovely month and I’m looking forward to seeing what February brings!
