March has gone by quickly but also seems to have dragged at the same time. It has been hectic, at times stressful but an otherwise excellent month. I've spent the month on days out, with friends and even a quick weekend trip to the Lake District. Here is what happened in March!
Month: March 2024
What I Read in March!
March seems to have lasted forever yet gone by in a flash. I have no idea why. I've read 5 books throughout March which is a lot less than I'd have liked but I've hardly had any time to read this month. In this post, you will find a bunch of mini-reviews for the books I read in March. Here they are!
Books I Have on Pre-Order
One of my favourite things to do is pre-order books because it is always a wonderful surprise when they arrive. I've pre-ordered quite a few books recently and I wanted to share them with you. So, here are the books I have on pre-order!
Spring Book Tag!
It feels like Spring is finally here and it won't be long before I can sit outside and read my book! So, I thought it would be fun to give the Spring book tag a go. I did this back in 2022 but wanted to give it another to see how my answers differ. Here is the Spring book tag!
At First Spite – Olivia Dade
Prior to reading At First Spite, it had been a while since I last picked up an Olivia Dade book and I wonβt be leaving it that long ever again. This was an absolute joy to read. It is an enemies-to-lovers, small-town romance story which I would highly recommend.Β
Currently I’m…
One day I will only be reading one book, watching one series and listening to one thing. But, today is not that day. Iβm always intrigued by what other people are reading, watching and listening to. I think that it is a very good way to learn more about other people and to get recommendations at the same time. So, I started doing the βCurrently Iβmβ¦β posts to share my current reads, watches and what Iβm listening to with other people who are just as curious as I am. Here is what I am currently reading, watching and listening to.
Talking at Night by Claire Daverley – Quote
I finished reading Talking at Night by Claire Daverley last night and thoroughly enjoyed it. It is a stunning book that I would highly recommend picking up. It is also full of stunning quotes. So, I wanted to do what I normally do with a book that I enjoy, which is pick a quote from it and get designing.
What’s On My Netgalley TBR?
For months now I've been doing well at not requesting too many books on Netgalley, but that all went out the window this month. I've requested and then got accepted for a lot of books. Despite that I've still managed to keep my feedback ratio over 90% which I'm happy about.
New Releases I’m Excited For – April
April is almost here and that means that a lot of new releases are nearly here. There are so many amazing books coming out next month. So, I wanted to share the ones I'm most excited about in this post. So, here are the new book releases I'm excited for in April!
Where Sleeping Girls Lie – Faridah ΓbΓkΓ©-ΓyΓmΓdΓ©
After reading Ace of Spades back in 2021, and loving it, Iβve been looking forward to another mystery book from Faridah ΓbΓkΓ©-ΓyΓmΓdΓ© ever since. So, I had high expectations for Where Sleeping Girls Lie and it 100% lived up to these expectations. On the surface, this may seem like just another YA mystery book but it is so much more!
