April Book Haul!

Happy May everyone! I’ve done it again and hauled way more books than I expected to throughout the month. I hauled 21 books in April. This haul has some presents for myself, pre-orders and books kindly gifted to me by publishers. Here is my April book haul!

At the beginning of the month me and my best friends went on a day trip to Leeds and of course we did some book shopping. Whilst there I picked up Snapdragon by Kat Leyh from OK Comics. I’ve already read it and absolutely loved it. Also, I picked up The Kiss Countdown by Etta Easton and The Silent Patient by Alex Michaelides. Both of these I’ve been hearing excellent things about so I grabbed them whilst I could.

I had a few pre-orders arrive in April. The first was The Girl in Question by Tess Sharpe which I am hoping to read very soon. The next was Burning Crowns by Catherine Doyle and Katherine Webber. I’m excited to read this entire series very soon as it has so many incredible reviews. The last pre-order to arrive was Funny Story by Emily Henry which I’m currently reading and absolutely loving!

I visited a few more bookshops in the middle of the month whilst out and about and picked up a couple more books. They were How to End a Love Story by Yulin Kuang, Are You Happy Now by Hanna Jameson, Stealing Home by Grace Reilly and The Dog of the North by Elizabeth McKenzie. All of these sounds incredible and I’m excited to give them all a read.

I was lucky enough to be gifted a couple of books this month by lovely publishers. The first gifted by Headline and was Late Bloomer by Mazey Eddings which sounds amazing and is out now! I will be reading this one as soon as possible. The other was gifted by Little Brown and was Truly, Madly, Deeply by Alexandria Bellefleur which is out now and I will be reading very soon!

Right at the end of the month I went on a trip to a local The Works that I hadn’t been to in quite a while. They had an amazing selection of books there so of course I left with some. I picked up the entire Off Campus series by Elle Kennedy as it was only £20 and I couldn’t leave that amazing deal. Also, I grabbed Rootbound by Tarah DeWitt as I’ve enjoyed the other books I’ve read by her. Lastly I picked up the first three books in The Summer series by Elizabeth O’Roark as it sounded fun!

So, I ended the month with 21 more books than I began it with. Thank you so much to the publishers who gifted me some of the books included in this haul!

What books did you get in April and what books are you excited about in May? Let me know in the comments!
