June Book Haul!

Happy July everyone! I’ve done it again and hauled more books that I thought I had throughout June. I added 17 books to my collection in June. This haul has some presents for myself, pre-orders and books kindly gifted to me by publishers. Here is my June book haul!

On the first day of June I took a flight to my favourite place in the world, Lanzarote. In the airport I couldn’t miss out on looking at the airport exclusive books and of course I couldn’t leave without one. I picked up I Hope this Finds You Well by Natalie Sue which sounds excellent and I can’t wait to read.

When I arrived home after my holiday I had quite the stack of book post waiting for me. The first one I opened was gifted to me by the lovely Pan MacMillan and was When Haru was Here by Dustin Thao which I cannot wait to read. The others I opened were a wonderful selection of pre-orders. They were Love Overboard by Ada Barumé, Past Present Future by Rachel Lynn Solomon, Under you Spell by Laura Wood, Private Rites by Julia Armfield and Not in Love by Ali Hazelwood. All of these are ones I’m so excited to read very soon.

I had to go to an appointment on one of my days off this month so I thought I’d treat myself to a The Works trip after. Of course I ended up picking up quite a few books. I picked up 4 from the 3 for £6 section (which did defeat the purpose of the offer) they were Next to You by Hannah Bonam-Young, The Rebound by Catherine Walsh, The Second Chance Year by Melissa Wiesner and Unmasked by Paul Holes. All of these sounded interesting and I’m excited to read them.

The Works also had an excellent selection of new fiction. From their selection I picked up The Love of my Afterlife by Kirsty Greenwood, Tangled Up in You by Christina Lauren, The Locked Door by Freida McFadden and I Wish You Would by Eva Des Lauriers. Each of them have been on my radar for a while so I had to grab them whilst I could.

At the end of the month I visited a lovely Indie bookshop called Limestone Books and left with a book that has been on my wishlist for a while. It was Because I Don’t Know What You Mean and What You Don’t by Josie Long which sounds exceptional!

Lastly, one of my most anticipated releases of the year which I’ve had on pre-order forever arrived this month and I started reading it immediately. It was A Novel Love Story by Ashley Poston. I cannot wait to read more of it.

So, I ended the month with 17 more books than I began it with. Thank you so much to the publisher who gifted me one of the books included in this haul!

What books did you get in June and what books are you excited about in July? Let me know in the comments!
