I’ve managed to keep my book requesting on Netgalley to a minimum over the last couple of month. But, I still have a number of books on there that I need to read soon. I’ve still managing to keep my feedback ratio over 90% thought which I’m happy about.
I started writing these posts to show what was on my Netgalley TBR and to hold myself accountable when it comes to reading them. So, here are some of the books on my Netgalley TBR / shelf at the moment!

Last Seen Online by Lauren James
When Delilah meets Sawyer Saffitz (son of Anya Saffitz, aka Hollywood royalty), she becomes hooked on a decade-old scandal. In her quest for the truth, Delilah uncovers blogposts written by the mysterious “gottiewrites” and is soon caught up in a world of greed, fandom conspiracy theories … and murder. And the deeper Delilah digs, the more dangerous it becomes – because someone is willing to kill to hide the truth.

I’m reading this one at the moment and I am loving it. Wren James is such an exceptional author whose books I’ve always adored. This one hooked me right from the start and I cannot wait to see how the rest of the book plays out. I’ll be sharing my thoughts around release day which is coming very soon.
What A Way To Go by Bella Mackie
Anthony Wistern is wealthy beyond imagination. Fragrant wife, gaggle of photogenic children, French chateau, Cotswold manor, plethora of mistresses, penchant for cutting moral corners, tick tick tick tick tick tick.
Unfortunately for him, he’s also dead. Suddenly poised to inherit his fortune, each member of the family falls under suspicion.
And that’s when the lying starts…

Since reading How to Kill Your Family by Bella Mackie back in 2021 I’ve been keeping my eye out for another fiction book by her. I’m so glad that there is one coming very soon. This one sounds so interesting and as though it is going to be just as gripping as the previous book. I’m looking forward to reading this one soon and sharing my thoughts.
The Next Best Fling by Gabriella Gamez
Librarian Marcela Ortiz has been secretly in love with her best friend for years – but when he gets engaged, it’s time to move on. Before she gets the chance, she has a bigger problem to contend with in the form of Theo Young, ex-NFL player and older brother of the man she loves.
When she discovers Theo’s plans to confess his feelings for his brother’s fiancée at their engagement party, Marcela stops him – despite how tempting it is to let him run away with the bride-to-be. Managing to convince Theo to sleep off his drunken almost-mistake at her place, when they arrive at a family brunch the next day, everyone wrongly assumes they hooked up.
Since Theo needs a cover for his feelings for the bride and Marcela needs a distraction from her unrequited feelings for the groom, they decide to roll with the lie. Until one late night at a bar, they take it a step further. Soon, they’re exploring the simmering chemistry between them, whether in library aisles or Marcela’s bed.

I’m always on the hunt for another romance book and this one sounds exceptional. I love the idea of this one and want to see how it will play out. I’ve been seeing a lot of incredible reviews of this one as well which makes me even more excited to read it as soon as I can. I’ll share my thoughts on it soon!
The Love Dare by Abiola Bello
Popular girl Eva Òjó is used to boys falling for her without her even trying. So when her friend dares her to dance with a random guy at Notting Hill Carnival, she meets Saint.
Comic obsessed Saint Rowe-Falade thinks Eva is cute, but he’s not interested in her in that way. He’d rather get lost in stories than look for romance.
When Eva’s birthday party gets out of control and causes damage to her dad’s beloved car, her friends set the ultimate dare: get Saint to take her on one date and they’ll help her pay to fix her dad’s car. Operation fall-in-love-with-Eva is set in motion and Eva makes it her mission to make Saint fall head over heels. But just as Saint starts to warm to Eva, and her own feelings towards him grow, Saint finds out about the dare. Can Eva convince Saint she’s truly into him, or has she lost him for good?

I’ve read both of Abiola Bello’s previous YA novels that are set at Christmas time so I was excited to see that she was releasing one that would be perfect to read in the summer. Her books in the past have been fun to read and fast-paced. So, I’m looking forward to seeing if this one will be the same. I’ll share my thoughts on it soon!

There you have it, some of the books that are on my Netgalley shelf/TBR at the minute! What have you got on your Netgalley shelf and what are you excited to read? Let me know in the comments!
