The final month of 2020 is almost over and I'm both happy and sad about it! I've loved this month and it has been one of my favourite of 2020 but I am also excited for 2020 to end and finally be in a new year. Here is what happened in December!
How is it 2021 in just a few days? This year has dragged on but also gone quickly, it has been a strange old year. Throughout December I read a total of 6 books which isn't as many books as I've read in previous months this year. So, I am back with another what I read this month posts! I have a lot of thoughts I want to share on the books that I read in December. So, here is a little post full of mini reviews for the books I read in December!
Merry Christmas everyone! Just a quick little post to say Merry Christmas to you all and I hope you all have a wonderful day. If you celebrate Christmas or the festive period have a lovely day, I hope it can be as wonderful as normal despite what the year has brought! If you don't celebrate Christmas or the festive period, still have the best day and look after yourselves! Have a wonderful day!
A couple of days ago I share some of the new books being released in January 2021 that I am excited about. I love finding out all about new books being released and getting excited to see them out in the world!
Felipe gets it -- he's fat. Not chubby. Not big-boned. Fat. And he doesn't need anyone to remind him, which is, of course, what everyone does. That's why he's been waiting for this moment ever since the school year began: school break. Finally, he'll be able to spend some time far away from school and the classmates who tease him incessantly. His plans include catching up on his favorite TV shows, finishing his to-be-read pile, and watching YouTube tutorials on skills he'll never actually put into practice.
Back in October, I shared what was on my Netgalley shelf. Since then I have made my way through a number of the books that were on there and have added even more to it. There has been so many amazing books on my Netgalley shelf over the years and I currently have it down to just 3 books! Here is what is currently on my Netgalley shelf / TBR!
Today is a very exciting post and I'm so excited that this is actually happening! It is an question time with the author of the incredible novel, The Gravity of Us and the upcoming novel As Far As You'll Take me, it is Phil Stamper! I am a huge fan of Phil and I adored his debut novel, so I cannot wait for this! Thank you so much to Phil for spending the time to answer my questions, I appreciate it a lot! Without further ado, here is my question time with Phil Stamper!
I finished reading Love, Creekwood by Becky Albertalli the other night it got me thinking about one of my favourite books. That book is of course Simon vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda by Becky Albertalli. There are so many quotes from this book that I adore. So, I thought I'd have a mess around designing and see what I could create. Here is my little quote poster for a quote I love from Simon vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda by Becky Albertalli.
As always with me, this post should be a blank screen because I am still on a book buying back. Instead, what is actually happening is a haul of 6 books. I'm so good at staying on a book buying ban...
