After reading Ace of Spades back in 2021, and loving it, I’ve been looking forward to another mystery book from Faridah Àbíké-Íyímídé ever since. Breaks (Vol. 1) – Emma Vieceli and Malin Rydén
I hadn’t heard about Breaks until around a month ago and I have no idea how that had happened. As soon as I read the synopsis I was intrigued! It is being marketed as a darker alternative to Heartstopper and I think that is the perfect description of it. It was an enjoyable read and I’m excited for another volume soon.

ASAP – Axie Oh
After reading XOXO back in 2021, I’ve been waiting for another contemporary romance by Axie Oh. ASAP was exactly what I had been waiting for. Even better, its main characters are characters we meet in XOXO. I had a lot of fun reading it!
The Getaway List – Emma Lord
The Getaway List is a novel all about growing up, finding yourself and exploring a brand new city and I loved it. Emma Lord has yet again written another adorable YA romance that has my heart.
