What I Read in January!

was diagnosed with endometriosis in 2021. I was looking for a book that was an incredibly honest insight as to what it is like to live with endometriosis and the battle to have it diagnosed. This book was exactly that.
Little Bang – Kelly McCaughrain
It isn’t often that a YA book discusses teenage pregnancy. It is even rarer for a YA book to tackle teenage pregnancy and the topic of abortion so head-on. Little Bang is an unforgettable and poignant story that I feel everyone will learn something when they read this.
Snowed In – Catherine Walsh
After reading Holiday Romance in 2022 and it becoming one of my favourite books of the year, of course, I was excited to read the companion novel Snowed In. I went into this one expecting a light-hearted, fun and adorable romance and that is exactly what I got!

Only for the Holidays – Abiola Bello
If you are on the hunt for a book to read in the days before Christmas, or if you are looking for a wintery rom-com, then you need to look no further than Only for the Holidays. It is the perfect light-hearted YA contemporary and I would highly recommend it.

One Christmas Morning – Rachel Greenlaw
Last year when I was on the lookout for Christmas books this one caught my eye and I’m so glad it did. If you are a fan of time-loop stories with heart-felt, heart-breaking storylines I would certainly recommend this one.
