July is already over! July has definitely been my favourite month of this year so far. I have done a lot this month. I will talk about all of the things I have done in this post. Screen Shot 2017-12-05 at 15.30.59

I have managed to read 6 books this month. 1 audio book, 2 graphic novels and 3 novels. I was in a reading slump at the beginning of the month so relied on graphic novels and audio books. My reading picked up at the end of the month though Here are the books I read this month:

  • Theatrical by Maggie Harcourt (Novel) 4‘s
  • Anya’s Ghost by Vera Brosgol (Graphic Novel) 4‘s
  • The Start of Me and You by Emery Lord (Audio Book) 4‘s
  • Spinning by Tillie Walden (Graphic Novel) 4‘s
  • Children of Blood and Bone by Tomi Adeyemi (Novel) 4‘s
  • Bookshop Girl by Chloe Coles (Novel) 4‘s

I planned by blog posts again at the beginning of this month but didn’t stick to it completely. I am planning August at the minute and hope to stick to it completely. Here are my top 5 posts of July:

I am reading a lot more than I thought I would this year.  I am currently at 13 books ahead of schedule with my reading challenge at the minute. I now have £180 saved up, this is after putting aside £5 for every book I read this year. I now have no idea what I am going to put this money towards, me and my Mum are doing this and are planning on doing something together with our money, we can’t figure out what yet.

Looking back on July my mind went blank about what I did during July. I worked a lot this month and hardly had any time off. My sister turned 17 this month so we did IMG_20180728_155613.jpga lot of fun things for her birthday. Shopping, a family meal and baking! I also had a lovely day out with David in Manchester.

The big thing that happened this month though is that I went to London for YALC. I went to London for the weekend with my family at the end of July. It was my first ever time at YALC and I had such a lovely time with my friends. I bought a lot of books and met a lot of authors. I am going to be doing a few YALC related posts at the beginning of August so look out for them!
