December seems to be another quiet month in terms of book releases. There is still some I am excited about reading and picking up though. Here are the December release I’m excited for.
The Disasters by M.K England
“Hotshot pilot Nax Hall has a history of making poor life choices. So it’s not exactly a surprise when he’s kicked out of the elite Ellis Station Academy in less than twenty-four hours.
But Nax’s one-way trip back to Earth is cut short when a terrorist group attacks the Academy. Nax and three other washouts escape—barely—but they’re also the sole witnesses to the biggest crime in the history of space colonisation. And the perfect scapegoats.”
I only found out about this book today, but I immediately want to buy it and give it a read. This book sounds incredibly interesting. It also has nothing but amazing reviews as well and I am yet to see a bad review about this book. I will certainly be picking this up!

My Almost Flawless Tokyo Dream Life by Rachel Cohn
“In the Land of the Rising Sun, where high culture meets high kitsch, and fashion and technology are at the forefront of the First World’s future, the foreign-born teen elite attend ICS-the International Collegiate School of Tokyo. Their accents are fluid. Their homes are ridiculously posh. Their sports games often involve a (private) plane trip to another country. They miss school because of jet lag and visa issues. When they get in trouble, they seek diplomatic immunity.”
This book just sounds excellent. I would love to give this book a read and see what I think. There are a lot of mixed reviews for this book and everyone seems to have a different opinion on the book overall. I want to give it a read and see what I think myself.

This Lie Will Kill You by Chelsea Pitcher
“One year ago, there was a party.
At the party, someone died.
Five teens all played a part and up until now, no one has told the truth.
But tonight, the five survivors arrive at an isolated mansion in the hills, expecting to compete in a contest with a $50,000 grand prize. Of course…some things are too good to be true. They were each so desperate for the prize, they didn’t question the odd, rather exclusive invitation until it was too late.”
This sounds like the perfect book for me to read right now. I am in the mood for a thriller book at the minute but can’t find one that grabs my attention. This one grabbed my attention immediately! So much so that I have actually pre-ordered it!
