The A-Z Book Tag

I’ve seen this book tag floating around for such a long time now but have never had the chance to do it myself! I love a good book tag and I’mm sure this one will be no different. Here is the A-Z Book Tag!

Author you’ve Read the Most Books From

This is either John Green or Rainbow Rowell. I read all their books whilst in college and they’ve stuck with me since then. I love both their books a lot. John Green is and always has been one of my favourite authors.

Best Sequel Ever

I am going to go generic here and say Catching Fire by Suzanne Collins in The Hunger Games series. I love this book a lot and it is easily my favourite book in the series. No sequels have topped this book just yet.

Drink of Choice Whilst Reading

I don’t usually drink when I am reading for some reason. If I do have a drink on the go when I happen to be reading though it will either be Coke Zero, a hot chocolate or a plain old glass of water.

E-Reader or Physical Book

I will always love physical books and gravitate towards them but I cannot read them without my glasses on and led down. So I enjoy a good e-reader book when I am tired but still want to read. My glasses can come off and I can lie down with my kindle close to my face and happily read and relax (lazy I know).

Fictional Character You Probably would have Actually Dated in High School

I feel like I would have dated John Ambrose McClaren from the To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before series. Don’t ask me why but I feel like he is someone teenage me would have liked a lot.

Glad You Gave this Book a Chance

Last Bus to Everland by Sophie Cameron. This book is the closest to reading fantasy books I have gone currently and I am so glad I read this book. I loved it a lot.

Hidden Gem Book

Faceless by Alyssa Sheinmel. I will forever love this book and have read it multiple times. I remember picking this book up on a whim and flying through it and loving it a lot. Not many people I know have read this though and I wish it was more widely read.

Important Moment in your Reading Life

Going to my local bookstore with my Grandma every Saturday when I was younger. I always bought a book to read the next week and it helped start my love for reading. Thanks Grandma!

Major Book Hangover because of

The Loneliest Girl in the Universe by Lauren James. I didn’t read another book for a while after finishing this book. I just couldn’t think of another book whilst this one was floating around my mind.

Number of Bookcases you Own

None at all. I have no room for bookcases in my bedroom or even my house. So, my books live in boxes under my bed. One day I will have bookcases but it won’t be for a while. You bet when I do though I will constantly be taking pictures of them.

One Book You’ve Read Multiple Times

I will have to say Faceless by Alyssa Sheinmel for this one. I have read it a few times and listened to the audio book a few times. I love this book a lot and it doesn’t get all the love that it deserves.

Reading Regret

Not reading more whilst in high school. I was bullied for reading at school and it made me stop reading for the duration of high school. I wish I had ignored the bullies and continued to do something I love.

Series You Started but Need to Finish

I don’t really read series but I am still not finished with the Illuminae Files series. I still have to read Obsidio by Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff and I will have finished the series. I love this series a lot and have no idea why I haven’t finished it yet.

Worst Habit

Buying a lot of eBooks but never getting round to reading them, forgetting about them being on my Kindle and just buying the physical book. It is a bad habit and a big waste of money.

I am going off my Goodreads Want to Read shelf for this one because I don’t own any physical book shelves. It is Pilu of the Woods by Nguyen, Mai K. which is a really cute looking graphic novel I really want to read.

Zzzz Snatcher

Outside by Sarah Ann Juckes. I stayed up quite late one night whilst reading this book because I had to finish the story and find out what would happen. I just couldn’t put it down.
