September Book Haul!

Book HaulHere I am once again with another book haul, this time with all the books I bought in September! I didn’t buy anywhere near as many books as normal throughout September because I am still on a mild book buying ban after buying so many books at YALC. There is still a haul for this month though! Here is my September book haul!Line

Within days of September beginning I had already bought a book. I was recommending books to a Mum and her daughter at work when I was recommended one by them. We didn’t have the particular book in the library so I read a sample of it and immediately knew I had to buy is. So I now have a copy of Sleeping Giants by Sylvian Neuvel and cannot wait to read it.

A couple of days later I bought myself a copy of Pumpkinheads by Rainbow Rowell and Faith Erin Hicks. I have read this one already and love it with all my heart. It is such a wonderful Autumn book that I could read over and over again.

I didn’t buy anymore books until the end of September when I had a trip to the Trafford Centre with my sister. Whilst there I met Dougie Poynter and had my copy of his book signed. I am glad I finally have a copy of Plastic Sucks by Dougie Poynter and will be referring to it a lot in the coming months.

Whilst in the Trafford Centre I visited the Waterstones there and left with a couple of books. I bought The Places I’ve Cried in Public by Holly Bourne which was out early and I am excited to read. I also picked up a copy of With the Fire on High by Elizabeth Acevedo. I have heard a lot about this book and it has a lot of positive reviews so I knew I had to pick up a copy!

LineOverall September has been a quiet book buying month for me and I am actually very glad about this! Let’s hope I can keep to buying minimal amounts of books in October too!

What books did you buy in September and what books are you excited for in October? Let me know in the comments!

Happy Reading
