I’ve had another good blogging month and posted as much as I wanted to throughout the month! I even had ideas pop into my head for November and December. I am getting better at scheduling posts ahead of time to make things a little easier for me too! I am fully in a blogging stride at the minute and I am loving blogging! Here are my top 5 posts for October.
- September Book Haul!
- November Releases I’m Excited About!
- Birthday Celebrations!
- Full Disclosure – Camryn Garrett
- The Birthday Book Tag
I’m still extremely happy with how many books I have read this year and the progress I have made with my reading goal. I am so close to 70 books now and know that I will complete it. I am not going to up it anymore I don’t think but who knows. I am still putting aside £5 for every book I read this year and saving it all up so I have a lot put aside already.
This month has been extremely busy for me! I started out October spending the weekend in Edinburgh with my boyfriend for my 22nd birthday which was lovely! I wrote a full post all about that which you can find here.
Then the month went downhill very suddenly. My boyfriend’s dog Bella died suddenly this month and none of us were expecting it. She was my best friend and slept in the bed with me whenever I was there so there is a huge void in my life without her. This really through my mood off and it still isn’t the best but I will get there. I miss Bella so much and don’t know what to do without her.
To give me and David a pick-me-up we went on a nice little date day. We took a trip to a local arcade club and played a lot of video games and then went for a lovely meal. It was well needed and kept us busy when we needed it.
The rest of this month was a whirlwind. I went to a concert, I went to see a play and went to a book event! All of these were wonderful and I had a lot of fun!
It wouldn’t be the end of the month if I didn’t attend my wonderful best friend’s LGBTQ+ book club. This month with Sarah and Sophie we read Sawkill Girls by Clare Legrand! I didn’t actually get round to reading the book this month with everything that has happened but it was still wonderful to spend time with friends.
That’s it October is over. I cannot wait to see what November holds. What has your October been like and what have you read? Let me know in the comments below!
I’m so sorry to hear about Bella. A house definitely doesn’t feel the same with a little fur baby missing. I’m glad that you still managed to still have some good times last month ❤

You’re going to have So Much saved up by the end of the year! I put aside £1 for each book I finish but I’m tempted to up it for next year.

I know! It has really helped me to save up and not touch the money I have saved, in more ways than one!
