I can’t quite believe I am getting to post something like this. For years I have been dreaming of getting a book shelf for my room but it has never before been possible, until now. Thanks to a big clean up of my room I finally made space for a single book shelf. I am so happy about finally owning a book shelf and wanted to do a little tour of the one shelf I have. So, here is a tour of my little book shelf! The Top Shelf
This bookcase consists of 5 shelves all of books I have yet to read or will be rereading in the future. There is absolutely no order to them at the minute other than they are books I want to read within the next couple of years. On the top shelf of this bookcase are the following books: Crush and Brave by Svetlana Chmakova, Furious Thing by Jenny Downham, How to be Luminous by Harriet Reuter Hapgood, Dear Martin by Nic Stone. The Inexplicable Logic of my Life by Benjamin Alire SΓ‘enz, Obsidio by Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff, The Savages by May Whyman, It Only Happens in the Movies by Holly Bourne, See How They Lie by Sue Wallman, Phantom Limbs by Paula Garner, Something in Between by Melissa De La Cruz, The Square Root of Summer by Harriet Reuter Hapgood, Are We All Lemmings and Snowflakes by Holly Bourne and Our Chemical Hearts by Krystal Sutherland.
This shelf also has my Toy Story pop figures and little collectibles on there. My favourite being my Forky pop figure!
The Second Shelf
As you can probably tell this is my Spider-Man shelf (I’m a little obsessed!). This shelf has some of the books I am most excited to read on it. The shelf contains: American Panda by Gloria Chao, Windfall by Jennifer E. Smith, Mosquitoland by David Arnold, Break the Fall by Jennifer Iacopelli, Starry Eyes by Jenn Bennett, Indigo Donut by Patrice Lawrence, Goodbye Stranger by Rebecca Stead, If There’s No Tomorrow by Jennifer L. Armentrout, Every Colour of You by Amelia Mandeville, It by Stephen King, Serious Moonlight by Jenn Bennett and Girl in Pieces by Kathleen Glasgow.
If anyone knows of any Spider-Man Far from Home and Homecoming pops I am missing please let me know cause I am on the look out!
Middle Shelf
I’m not quite sure what this shelf is doing but it is somewhat organised. A few of the books on this shelf are rereads, including The Hunger Games trilogy. One of my most anticiated books of 2020 is on this shelf, can you guess what it is? On this shelf is: The Beauty that Remains by Ashley Woodfolk, How to Build a Heart by Maria Padian, Tyler Johnson Was Here by Jay Cole, Meet Cute by Various Authors, Made You Up by Francesca Zappia, Truly Devious by Maureen Johnson, Sleeping Giants by Sylvain Neuvel, The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern, The Hunger Games Trilogy by Suzanne Collins, The Sky is Mine by Amy Beashel, No Big Deal by Bethany Rutter and Field Notes on Love by Jennifer E. Smith.
This shelf also has my Harry Potter figures, specifically my Luna Lovegood figures. I love Luna and these figures mean a lot to me. I also have a little baby Groot on here and a couple of Zelda lights.
The 4th Shelf
I have lovingly named this shelf the Steve shelf! On this shelf you will find: The Starless Sea by Erin Morgenstern, How to Make Friends with the Dark by Kathleen Glasgow, The Monster Series by Michael Grant, An Abundance of Katherines by John Green, Scars Like Wings by Erin Stewart, The Mars Room by Rachel Kushner, With the fire on High by Elizabeth Acevedo, Opposite of Always by Justin A. Reynolds, Infinity Son by Adam Silvera, A Curse So Dark and Lonely by Brigid Kemmerer and Dead Popular by Sue Wallman.
This shelf is the home of my Stranger Things pop figures, specifically Steve, my Coraline pop, Jack pop and Stitch figures!
The Bottom Shelf
Here is the shelf in which you will find all the Hardbacks on my TBR! I love hardbacks but don’t own a lot hence there being so few on my shelf. The hardbacks on this shelf are: Stranger Things, On a Sun Beam by Tillie Walden, Aurora Rising by Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff, My Sister the Serial Killer by Oyinkan Braithwaite, This is Where it Ends by Marieke Nijkamp, Sawkill Girls by Claire Legrand, Stay Sexy and Don’t Get Murdered by Karen Kilgariff and Georgia Hardstark, This Time Will Be Different by Misa Sugiura, Ship it by Britta Lundin, My Almost Flawless Tokyo Dream Life by Rachel Cohn and If I’m Being Honest by Emily Wibberley and Austine Siegemund-Broka.
This shelf is the home of my X-Files and Twin Peaks pops. My favourite character from Twin Peaks in the Log Lady and I love her pop figure to bits!
I hope you enjoyed my little book shelf tour! I cannot wait to own more book shelves in the future and have them properly organised! Do you own book shelves, if so what do they look like? Are any of the books on my shelves on yours too? Let me know in the comments!
Your shelf is so tidy and organised! Iβm so impressed and jealous!
